If Iran were to turn Trump into a glob of orange meat (I mean, more than he is right now), the cult will freak out. Some will blame it on deep state. Clinton and Biden will be name dropped. But there will be nothing to keep the movement going. I think Project 2025 will start to wither as well because no one involved can capture the mob like Trump can.

I think you can just assume at this point the US government does not care about the constitution or it's people and will use any means necessary to collect data on those who wish to counter its growing authoritarian nature.

If you go to a protest, only take a burner phone or no phone at all. If you must take your phone, turn it off and Faraday cage it.

The US has become a failed state. Leave if you can. Things will only get worse before it completely implodes.

I was angrily wishing I could preheat the oven while I was on my way home from work. That’s when I realized the reason for a WiFi oven.

Maybe a better oven is better than wifi. It only takes my oven a few minutes to get up to temp.

I come home, turn it on, fiddle with "getting home shit", and by the time I'm done it's ready to go. No wifi needed.

That's a pretty basic program with simple software needs.

If the programming is such shit there is a chance they need connectivity to update it or patch the code once it's gone into production, it might be best to look into another product.

My gaming computer is in an old 4 unit rack mount server case. I think there is some sort of RGB nonsense on the motherboard, but you can't see it once the computer is racked.
