  • Even with BG3, act 3 of the game is in much better shape than it launched with.

And their history of making "definitive" editions is looming a year or two down the road.

Oddly, as is their gameplay style of act 3 being the buggiest and least directed along with artificial difficulty of grouping the party in a tight clump via cutscene before the hard fights.

Still an utterly fantastic game despite those minor gripes.

  • Modi is a member of the same far right group that Pierre Poilievre is. The same group that Harper runs, with the goal of making the entire world far right.

If anything, Modi would be told to ramp it up by Harper. It makes us scared, and scared people vote Conservative.

Edit: and while that is admittedly conjecture and conspiracy nonsense. Harper is crazy and power mad enough to do that. He broke election law with robocalling, and put millions of Canadians at risk by shutting down the coast guard facility in the busiest seaplane port in the world, as well as the busiest cargo crate port on the west coast of the Americas.

  • In and of itself, automation hasn't done that.

Forgetting the importance of unions has done that.
Letting unions leaders sacrifice the rights of junior members to enshrine the rights of the senior members has done that. Speaking of that: fuck the leadership of the UFCW. You double crossing snake ass motherfuckers.

Letting union leaders and government officials get cozy trips courtesy of companies has done that.

  • It's considerably more insane because its doubling an existing massive river from northern Saskatchewan up to the exit point for no reason. Particularly in an area where there isn't enough infrastructure to support begin to support such an operation.

Using the same start point you already have the Mackenzie river going to Lake Athabasca. From there you have existing rivers and canals getting you to Lake Winnipeg, albeit somewhat inefficiently and would need expanding to get bigger ships through. Although you might need some locks to be added to get around the dams on Lake Winnipeg.

Making the only real canal section being Winnipeg to Superior, and then you're in the great lakes.

If you want the crazy option, get up to Lake Athabasca then go out through the Peace River to end at Bella Bella Coola, BC. Only have to cross several massive mountain ranges and do the crazy descent from BCs central interior plateau down to the ocean.

  • I quoted from the national post, a reliable if hard conservative newspaper. They don't ever flinch at calling immigrants terrorists. Notice that they accused him of immigration fraud.

Put something that proves he's a terrorist. I dare you.

  • On June 18th, Hardeep Singh Nijar, a prominent Sikh leader, was gunned down outside the Sikh temple where he is president.

His prominence was that he was calling for a referendum in India on Khalistan, in the aims of creating a Sikh controlled region in the Punjab region.

India accused him in 2016 of being behind a 2007 bombing in Punjab, except he's been in Canada since 1997. They took an Interpol notice on him, claiming that he ran terrorist training camps in Mission. (Vancouver resident here, the only religious terrorist camps in Mission are the Christian ones.)

It was in 1997 he claimed refugee status and used a fake passport to enter the country, the claim was rejected but he then married into citizenship.

His lawyer has stated that before his death, he was informed of threats against his life by CSIS.

  • The most likely answer is crime. Steal a bike, use it for a while, then dump it in a creek/river/ canal.

Happened all the time in Vancouver until the police stopped investigating petty crime. Now the homeless thieves just have open chop shops for the stolen bikes out in public.

  • I think the same. The original goal was probably to fire most of the workers, change the politics to match theirs, and just sit back and let the profits roll in.

But that failed, so now they're killing the platform off with an intent of using the lost investment as a massive tax write off.

  • If there is enough civilization to have film after.

After the fall of the Mediterranean Bronze Age civilizations, it took several hundred years before any real civilizations arose. And the only one with any records of it were the Egyptians
