  • Estimation at best. They probably knew about 500 people were there, but had no idea of a body count.

That being said, a lot of people were sleeping in the grass next to the impact site, and some in the parking lot. They are estimating around 200-300 people. Some of the people in the grass were already dead.

But most were using it as temporary sleeping area due to the destruction of their home.

Last point I'll talk about is that this crater was not caused by an airstrike like Hamas claimed. And the hospital is not destroyed which they also claimed. And the ballistics show that it would have come from not Hamas, but the other faction in the region, the Islamic Jihad group territory.

It seems I owe a few people here an apology.

  • I would disagree only partially. Because we know these folks are going to vote for whoever has the (R) in their name.

It's also not like Democrats couldn't get members to switch parties, then support them in their election. This is not as much political suicide, as it is a leap of faith. I could understand why republicans would not want to give up what they have for something new and unknown.

Yet, 3 republicans will make that leap if things become dire...... speaking of which.... How's the world doing in our political absence?

  • Actually, I'd prefer if you did doubt the source. It is X. I am not even going to disagree with you.

The video was geo-tagged to the location near the hospital. Landmarks match as well. So the evidence aligns that this is partially real.

However, there is still data I lack for a full picture. That is why I share stuff like this. So people can tell me WHY it is fake beyond the noticeable. Or provide insight or point of view that I could not.

  • Could be from the petroleum from the cars. It looks like the missile hit right outside the parking lot. Most of the cars are burned through too.

Though I am not seeing images of a crater, and it looks like the hospital is still standing. If it was an airstrike, I would imagine there would be more physical damage. But that is just speculation of a air strike bombing run. I feel like there should be more rubble.

They went as far as to inflate the number of casualties,” he said.

Estimates given in a time of panic. But only a 200 casualty rate is fine. 201 and we'd have to send you off to the gulag.

  • A hospital was bombed and people died. It’s a tragedy and everyone is focused on how they can own their political “opponents” and win online arguments.

I am not going to disagree with you, I feel like that deserves a some semblance of gravity of the situation. This isn't a zero sum game, but we have already committed to those rules.

But at the end of the day, debating is all we can do. As I doubt most of us here have the power to stop what is happening. We have to wait until both sides have had enough. Only they can decide when that is.

Overall, my only complaint is that the only evidence that could be shown on this situation, was a 240p 15 second video from 20 km away, of a missile intercept by a patriot system.

We give 5 billion taxpayer funded dollars a year for intel on the region and this is the best they can do to clear up the situation?

  • Speaking alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Biden said: "I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion of the hospital in Gaza yesterday, and based on what I've seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you."

"But there's a lot of people out there not sure, so we’ve got a lot, we’ve got to overcome a lot of things," Biden added.

If they have proof that the hospital attack was a Hamas misfire, I will hear their information.

I've watched every video they've posted, and every one seems like a patriot system intercepting a missile. So I keep holding out for a video that shows the moment of the hospital destruction, but so far, no luck.

I am starting to think we might never know, considering that Biden is going to commit to this story. Whether it can be verified or not.

Though, as far as Israel being the intelligence capital of the middle east. Let's just say, I've received better reporting/verification from Ukraine operations and they don't get 5 billion a year for intelligence.

Edit: new video has been discovered of the incident,

  • I sure do care about Ukrainians right now, and we do need to get that funding back on track.

    However....

That's a pretty big slap in the face for anyone hoping for student debt relief, universal healthcare, or parental leave. And told constantly it would bankrupt us. Suddenly we find 100 billion in between the couch cushions when there is even a wiff of war.

  • The understandable difference being that a gun has but one purpose: Kill people.

Whereas everything else I have mentioned, including 3d printers are multi-purpose. Not intended to kill, but to serve multiple roles.

Though, it is a good point that few devices could be cobbled together to make infinite guns so long as you had material. So I am not saying it isn't a class of it's own, just where does the logic end with that point?

Is it only legal for a company to print guns? How does a license alone protect people? I don't think that is something I could answer.

  • Please, by all means.

All I ask is that they try aiming AT hamas and not like imperial storm troopers. We have better aim then this surely?

  • A surprising enlightening read. Thank you for sharing.

  • Well if points drew a line, then the dots are arranging themselves in a way where people who thought they were donating to Jewish culture preservation actually partially funded Trump's legal depute with Stormy Daniels at the end of the money trail.

Lord, I do hope I am wrong.

  • I think some people would say the ability to print a gun is more deadly then a knife.

But I kind of agree with you.

If we start licensing people to own stuff that has the potential to do harm, then eventually you are going to run into a never ending list of household items and laws of natural physics:

    • Bleach
    • Vinegar
    • Salt
    • Sugar
    • Chlorine
    • Gas
    • Natural gas
    • Methane
    • Fertilizers
    • Electricity
    • Paper
    • Fire
    • Propane
    • Etc.
  • Alembik, who describes DeSantis as one of his “close friends” in a post on LinkedIn, first attracted attention in the wake of Trump’s comments following a 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia that left a counter-protester dead. After Trump insisted their were “many fine people” on both sides of the issue, mainstream charities pulled events from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club.

Alembik, however, decided to move a charity gala for his newly formed pro-Israel nonprofit group, Truth About Israel, to Mar-a-Lago to help fill the void.

His non-profit, looks like a website dedicated to claiming that Israel is not an Apartheid state. Beware, it looks like the site has been neglected for some time.

That being said, it also looks like he didn't really do anything with the charity outside of a quick youtube channel. Like nothing. I can't find public records on what he used the money on, or donations, or Even pictures of projects he did.

It is a charity in name only.

  • This technology will get better, to the point I imagine most of us won't be able to see the difference. Scary stuff all around.

Though this shot is rather telling because that background character is "Center right" which basically gives it a spotlight. At that point, it is no longer a background, it is the scene.

Though, it is a high-school teen sports Disney movie, so I am not expecting much in the form of creativity or effort.

  • I imagine quite a few Republicans are still pissed about McCarthy. So those 10-20 holdouts might be more "Durable" then people think. I don't mean untouchable mind you, just that pride can be a multiplicative factor....

It is not impossible, but 20 people is a lot of concessions before the tomorrow vote.

I imagine defense contractors and military are anxious to get into Israel and Ukraine funding back on track. Which might be creating more social pressure on the back end in the US.

  • Once bitten, twice shy.

Though, as more of the fog of war becomes clear, it is becoming more and more likely that Hamas did not plan this on their own. There is information that people in Gaza would not know, tactics they would have never studied in school, equipment that is unique to situations, and planning that goes much more in depth then on a surface level.

Though it is becoming more and more likely that Iran may have created these documents. Keep in mind this is still speculation. I will come to your house and eat all your pizza if you start spreading it like fact. Because once again; anyone with a printer could have made these documents.

Please wait for official confirmation before acting on speculation.
