  • Been on chrome for like 12 years. Syncs across my phone, everything. I will make the switch. I have been wondering when google was going to go evil. Why not 2023 like everything else on the internet?

  • I legit reread the post, zoomed back in in the picture making sure I understood, trying to figure out how the tool got into the "oil pan" Thinking you meant the oil pan on the bottom if the engine, not the drain pan.

  • An ecotank printer is the best printer I ever bought. I rarely print anything. Like a few times a year. My biggest problem with the cartridge printers wasn't that I would run out of ink, they would just dry out and not work after extended periods of non-use. So to print my few pages every now and then I would have to spend $50 on cartridges. Not really worth it. The ecotank has a flush option that clears out the printing head. So if it did have an issue it would clear I out. Usually it was just fine after sitting 6 months. And a refill is like $30. 3 years in I have yet to have e to refill it. And the printer was only like $70

  • I had nothing but problems with firesticks, just underpowered and bloated. Got a Roku and have had much better luck. I hear you can run Kodi on it just fine I haven't done it myself though.

  • In an airtight room when there is a fire it consumes the oxygen and becomes ventilation controlled the room gets hotter and hotter and the combustible solids in the room continue to pyrolyze into flammable gasses but can't burn because there is no oxygen. Then a firefighter opens the door........

There's actually a vacuum in the room, it sucks fresh air in and all those flammable gasses and smoke ignite and explode.

It's called a backdraft. It only happens when there is a tightly sealed home/room.

  • Depends on how far it goes. Kids aren't required to carry an ID to fly domestically. And as a parent I wouldn't carry their birth certificate everywhere. So if the name on the ticket isn't enough it would be quite the fucking problem.

As far as the lawsuit, it depends if the tsa was being dicks, if mom was being a dick etc. If it was a quick check and mom lost her shit because she thought it was based on race, or if security blatantly said it and mom lost her shit and it turned into a bigger deal.

  • If the kids old enough to figure out VPNs, dual booting, and all the other pretty simple workarounds then it is what it is. You can't control everything. I am talking about the little guys. And this dudes kid is googling how to teach crabs to talk. If someone is searching that they probably aren't ready to get completely unrestricted access because they are probably pretty young. Like I said, single digits or tweens.

  • Kids need access to the internet at a super young age these days for school. If you don't have some sort of filter in place when they are in single digits or tweens you are just negligent. The internet has some dark corners.

  • My wife doesn't do it all the time more when we first got together but she would call my name, like I'm a fucking dog. I just started saying "What?" Sometimes she would just say "come here" as a response and I would just give an akward silence for a second and say "Why?" with some attitude behind it. She figured out that it bothered me and stopped. Communication is cool.
