It can also happen if your password expired. Active Directory is infamous for just locking accounts if your user doesn't change their password when they get the popup that it expired
I know you're being blithe, but I'd question any galactic federation representative that couldn't comprehend that the slab of glass just happens to be the most efficient method of sharing information we as a species ever devised.
People want to return to a lighter simple Windows OS, but Microsoft is making that increasingly hard to access. The LTSC version of Windows 10 is close(No AI, No Ads, and minimal telemetry that can be disabled), but they dont sell it to the public unless you buy 5 copies, and there is no LTSC version of Windows 11 yet. looks like they finally released it a couple months back, but people are unhappy with it.
Linux offers an alternative, but compatibility is still a huge issue despite the impressive gains Wine and Proton have made in the last few years.
The reality is that if you have a Windows PC you can basically guarantee that you can install anything you might want(barring hardware limitations). You can often make that software work on Linux too, but there is always some tinkering involved and the general public doesn't want to deal with that, nor do they want to change to a FOSS alternative.
With the US, there is also a culture problem to address. There are way too many people there that make 2A their whole personality.
Australia had its share of gun nuts, but they were both a small minority and didn't have a whole lifetime of indoctrination telling them to prepare for the day the government will come for their guns
For me, it was a number of things that all came about through my 20s. The biggest were learning both how and when to tell people "no", and making a conscious effort to think proactively rather than reactively.
What I mean by that is don't take on extra work only because someone asks you to, and if something goes wrong, only worry about it if you can actually do something about it. Both of these are skills that require practice.
Also, as others have said, think critically if it might just be a shitty work environment. If that's the case, consider looking for other work while keeping this job.
Im told they offer better options for tiered monetization and the UI is supposedly way better. They also do a better job of promoting smaller creators.
Plus, they never threatened to oust their adult content creators because their payment processor asked them to.
I'd probably use Fansly instead of OF, but yeah, absolutely. (Assuming that I had the drive to actually do the marketing legwork and had something to offer that was actually in demand, that is)
I haven't tried to use hamachi in years so I'm not sure about a solution to your problem. However, I can strongly recommend Zerotier as a potential alternative
Wired communications would take over immediately and it would be a massive pain in the ass, but we'd ultimately adapt.
If the EM jamming is enough to also degrade the signal in copper lines, which at 1000x the strongest signal, might happen, then basically all modern society would collapse within 48 hours
