  • Uh what, brain damage can cause major issues like seizures and migraines. Having debilitating seizures or migraines for weeks or months till they can reschedule the execution sounds pretty bad.

  • No other notes.

There is another aspect to your comment, which was that it made me laugh really hard.:)

    No other notes.

  • The first episode was by far the worst episode of the season. Honestly the first 3 are all kinda meh but it picks up after that. The most recent episodes all feel very similar to s1. It feels like that are making a concerted effort to return to their roots, but still had some episode in the pipeline they couldn't change which is what we see at the start of the season. Its only a few episodes tho so who knows if it will stick.

  • Strange I also took effexor for a while, it was the worst drug I ever taken. I got brain zaps as a kid long before I ever took any antidepressants but eventually they stopped. I never knew they were associated with stopping antidepressants, I have never seen anyone describe them before other than this thread.

When I was taking effexor I would forget to take them and also eventually I just built up a tolerance to them, and when I didn't have the drug in my system I got this sort of lagging feeling. Like my whole body would feel like it was lagging behind me, moving my hands or head or whatever felt weird. I kept getting those symptoms even when taking effexor and I also developed worse symptoms like psychosis and an inability to sleep(like didn't sleep for over a week) so I eventually just stopped taking effexor cold turkey. I felt that lagging feeling for months after but it eventually went away. I refuse any psych meds now because of my experiences with effexor.

  • WTF I had those brain zaps a lot as a kid, I have described this to many doctors before and no one has ever given me any sort of explanation. And now I just see some random lemmy comment precisely describe them. I didn't have them in association with discontinuing antidepressants just randomly got them as a kid.

  • Dyslexia is pretty common. Written language wasn't common among the human population till a few hundred years ago, using that as your measure of intelligence is a very poor fit. No it doesn't say anything about their ability to incorporate new information. Judging people based on spelling is just not a good indicator for anything except for the very narrow task of spelling and doesn't say anything meaningful about their intelligence in other areas. Using it as a way to discriminate in the workplace is especially bad as your are just being needlessly discriminatory to neurodivergent individuals. Neurodivergent people are constantly gatekept from promotions by neurotypicals for shallow surface indicators that actually have no bearing on their ability to perform in the role. It's just ableism.

  • Spelling is a poor indicator of competence.

  • not a mental health sufferer

Then your opinion means nothing here, stop bootlicking cops

  • I been using oled for years on phones/laptops... never noticed any burn in. The issue seems like a chronically online nitpicking more than anything that a real user will encounter.

  • Calling people npcs is total npc behavior

  • This might be a dumb question... but uh... what are the alternatives in the modern US?

How do people meet nowadays? Like there are no 3rd places left, I dont want to pay to be in some overmonitized club or some shit. I am long out of school. Meeting people seems next to impossible nowadays.

  • The more important question is, what is the cool down? If you can just spam it really fast you can essentially move at (7inchs/teleport) * (teleports/second).. if you can spam that multiple times a second you could actually move really fast, even fly.

  • Literally any political messaging is propaganda, be it fake or true.

  • Well now you know so if you meet someone using Mx you won't knee jerk fire them.

  • It absolutely does not. I have worked for the US government doing "simulations" of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) control systems as a software engineer. I put simulation in quotes because they hardly qualify, they were using a shitty game engine from a shitty war game that was like 10 years old. Their tech was a shit show absolute garbage. The worst job I ever had. I do not believe they have anything we don't see in the private sector or in academia. They don't have secret tech like that.
