  • "The minister, who also has some powers over the Israeli unit that controls border crossings and permits for Palestinians, has a long history of denying the existence of a Palestinian nation and has previously made controversial statements about them as well as on other issues like LGBTQ rights.

Earlier this month, he made incendiary comments saying that the in the West Bank “needs to be erased”'

  • So you're saying the extreme loss of civilian life is "not excessive"? Over 10,000 dead??

Also, what are "military targets" to you? Hospitals, churches, refugee camps, and homes are all fair game? Using white phosphorus bombs and hellfire missiles?

"AGM-114R9X is a non-explosive yet lethal missile due to its rotating blades that decapitate anyone within 3ft. The Minimum/Maximum fire distance is 1.5 km/8km." That was launched at a hospital. This is despite Israeli insisting that Hamas is hiding in tunnels underneath densely populated areas and using civilians as "human shields" How is that going to kill members of Hamas?

No one except people trying to commit genocide go to these lengths to ensure civilian casualties. There are so many other options if they just wanted to kill Hamas fighters. But this is excessive, indefensible, and vile.

  • So to clarify, the M2 Ultra runs at 800 GB/s because it's utilizing multiple memory channels, which is like running dual/quad/etc. channel RAM in an x86 PC. So at the max 64 GB/s bandwidth of DDR5 ram, you could run quad channel and get 256 GB/s right? And getting up to 12 channels of DDR5 could mean a bandwidth of 768 GB/sec?

Yeah, in that case Apple is definitely over charging. To be fair, my mb can't run 12 channels of RAM but it also won't cost me an arm and a leg and a kidney to have similar performance per GB

  • I'm really interested in this kinda thing, do you have sources I can read?

What I found was DDR5 runs at a max of 64 GB/s, and the M2 Pro runs at 400 GB/s. I can't find anything about it being faster due to running in parallel. Edit:I found it, looks like the M2 Ultra runs at 800 GB/s, cool. If I'm reading correctly, this was done by connecting two M2 Pros

Also, the PS5 allegedly has over 400GB/s bandwidth just for perspective

  • the dirty energy and logistics cost to produce a Tesla battery will probably always outweigh its carbon savings.

This has been disproven. Yes, the initial carbon cost is higher but overall it's beneficial, especially if we're talking about the lifetime of the engine. And I'm sure the reduced maintenance helps too.

  • It almost seems like parody to say, but the people defending Trump are not compatible with rational thoughts like "the judge gave Trump leeway because he wasn't biased". Even serving them those thoughts on a silver platter would just end in them rejecting it with whatever platitude they prefer to use when realizing they have nothing they can say (i.e. "bah that's just cancel culture")

  • Tidal pays artists even more, and has some features Apple Music doesn't have for the same price (or cheaper if you're Military/First Responder)

But of course Apple Music is better for some people for certain features it has. And Tidal's hi-fi plan is more expensive. I get the knee jerk dislike of Apple, but nuance almost always gets lost online.

That being said, Spotify sucks lol
