Your rant is completely factless. Germany has called for a ceasefire numerous times. At the same time its urging to help civilians and open borders for humanitarian aid. Its calling for a two-state solution, where Palestinians have their own state.
The statement of 'unwavering support of Israel' regards to the existence or Israel, not everything Israel does. Because a lot of states and organizations want Israel to stop existing - for example Hamas.
Germany has this concept implemented in a lot of places, too.
Ironically this results in some problems now. For example the city Salzgitter (100k inhabitants) is heated by the local steel plant – which currently transitions towards green steel. Their transition also leads to a shut down of their blast furnaces, leaving the inhabitants of Salzgitter out of heating.
Btw: why would you treat Russia different to Italy? If Italy commits human rights violation to the same degree as Russia and Israel do, I would expect you to condemn Italy and Peru the same way.
I just call it out. Its antisemitism plain and simple.
And the only reason why Russia hasn't succeeded is the far superior air defense of Ukraine compared to Hamas (who itself doesnt care about Palestinians and therefore has almost no air defense at all) and the more densely populated area.
The difference between Russia and Israel is, that Russia decided to attack Ukraine and Israel was attacked and is defending itself against Hamas. Nevertheless, even Germany and France are urging to stop the bombing of civilians.
Its plain and simple antisemitic in this instance. They didn't do this against Russia – who treats the Ukrainians similarly, but without even the slightest reason. They only do it against Israel.
If you use this tool against all human rights violators, I wouldn't complain. But if you only use it against Jews/Israel? Seems to be personally motivated and not for the cause.
Thats due to 0 economic knowledge of the author. The article says 49 mil profit, which should be revenue. If you mix up such basic figures I wouldn't trust any other 'analysis' of the article.
No country on its own is able to build high end chips. Currently you need at least Germany for technology, the Netherlands for the machines and Taiwan for manufacturing. In total over 300 companies just build parts for the machine.
No, China on its own won't be able to get close or even surpass.
Nevertheless, quite impressive that they went from being 10 years behind (18 nm) just two years ago to 3 years behind (5 nm). We have to wait and see if the claim of Huawei having 5 nm is actually true, but if so, they are closing the gap really fast – which of course makes everyone wonder how. And the track record of China and trade secrets makes it not a far stretch to at least consider theft. But of course it could also just mean that they are really good at reverse engineering.
What's part of the reason Russia wants to occupy Ukraine. Its a lot easier to defend - against what enemy Russia thinks it needs to defend itself. Its not like someone is seriously planning to attack a nuclear power.
Thats the whole point: it doesnt call for the reduction of fossil fuels. The idea behind the draft is that we continue to invest and consume fossil fuels until some magic technology saves us by capturing and storing the CO2.
Maybe he should double check if the source he quotes is trustworthy. BTW: he hasn't corrected his made-up quote.
