I can never get the parallel view to work. My eyes want to focus too quickly. :( cross view is so much easier to me. I wish they came in both all the time.

Add those words to your dictionary to stop them from autocorrecting. You can also add them as a contact and it will autocorrect towards that word, so I can get my phone to want to correct to “fucking”.

Yes. Autocorrect has gotten better and better with my typing as it learns the words I type. It takes into account where on the wrong letters that I’m typing to figure out the actual word. I’m pretty fast at typing on my phone.

Hawaii does this. Hanauma Bay is free for locals but charges $25 for tourists.

I know why blahaj.zone doesn’t allow downvotes, and I support it, but I can’t have it be my main account’s instance because of my personal use case.

Exactly what I was thinking with Python. I love Python, and it definitely enables more devs to contribute and use it, but it is never something I would use for a backend because it will not scale without a lot of work. I don’t know a lick of Rust, but I know that it’s insanely good with scaling and latency, so if I was building a social media platform that I had high hopes in, I would just start with that and learn it.

It’s nice to see that the fediverse can expand laterally though and have many different options. I may open a PieFed account just to see how it goes. I’m optimistic about the future of the fediverse having been here for 3 years.

Exactly. In Seattle, summer is the best. High of 75 most days and because of the water surround the city, it only gets down to high 50’s at night. And our winters aren’t too bad. 45F/40F averages, just wet with the light rain.

I have a python script that I run on my phone to scrape a few websites and return the current food trucks at my few local breweries with the times they’re there.
