Noone is defending Israel's invasion here. Your top level comment implied that Biden is violating his own call to a ceasefire by sending these troops in
..when they are a defensive unit. No missile attacks, no need to use the defensive battery.
I agree that they shouldn't be supporting it. But we're talking about defending a country against missile attacks, not violating some potential ceasefire by launching missiles for Israel.
Wtf is going on in this comments section? They are sending an anti air battery to protect them against rocket fire, but the bulk of the comments are acting like they are sending in troops to go in on the ground into Gaza/Lebanon.
Does really noone even bother to read the article?
You're acting like she has the election locked up and all she can do is blow it at this point.
It looks close to a toss up at this point, and the debate was a winning thing for her before. trump and painted himself into a corner because he either takes the debate, and then they can hammer him on flip flopping, and she likely wins again, or he keeps hiding and she can chip away at that "strpng man" nonsense he is trying to paint himself as.
Sure there is an outside chance that he takes the debate and wins...but he's not taking it because even they realize what an outside chance that this.
This is a great bet by her that you would have to be stupid not to take.
Lol what the fuck? Why on earth would anyone get a license if there were no punishment for not having one? Also I assure you that they didn't get pulled over for having no license; they were breaking another driving law.
But people will buy alcohol because they are addicted. It's a harmful substance, that the producers know is harmful, especially to addicts, and sell the highly addictive substance anyway. It's profiting from manipulating weaknesses in human psychology, just like the games are. If no one bought it, people would stop producing it. So simply extending your logic, buying alcohol is self-centered and contributing to alcoholism.
I'm not going to avoid enjoying myself because you say other people can't control themselves. That's like telling someone to not drink alcohol because some people suffer from addiction, and alcohol companies advertise.
Im not a big fan of pay to win, but I see no problem with micro transactions for cosmetic stuff. If people are dumb and want to spend their money on that, more power to them, especially if I benefit from it.
Your claim is in the same category as claiming increased GDP means a better economy.
You made a statement of fact that the actual facts contradict. All I did was point out what the actual facts say. This is nothing even remotely like some subjective analysis of what makes a good economy. Although I guess I did give my subjective analysis that it's "the right direction" when wage growth, especially for low wage workers, has been outpacing inflation for over a year. But I figure that would be pretty universally agreed upon.
But you appear to just want to believe what you believe, the facts be damned. Just like a good little trump supporter.
It’s nice some people in some rich states somewhere are getting raises.
Low wage workers have actually seen the largest increase. You're confusing your personal experience with the economy as a whole.
The economy is in full recession for most Americans.
I'm not saying people aren't struggling, I completely understand that there are lots of people who are. But this is just absolutely detached from reality.
Everything you said is true. But it has nothing to do with the article. It's about how her campaign seems to be more a grift than pushing green policies, and aimed at taking votes from Harris in swing states than actually trying to win any election.
She can obviously do what she wants, but it doesn't appear she is being genuine.
It's especially dumb because democratic primary votes overwhelmingly chose Clinton. It was never really a race at all, pretty much from start to finish she crushed Sanders. So this idea that the dnc picked her and everyone was forced to vote for her is just hogwash.
We're over a year straight of wage growth outpacing inflation. In jan if this year, 57% of workers had seen wage growth outpacing inflation (I can't find more current numbers, but I assume it's pretty similar). So you're wrong, most people are seeing increases that beat out inflation.
We have a long way to go due to how much was lost because of the pandemic and price gouging, but please stop spreading misinformation, you're just helping get trump elected.
Just ditch the idea that you need any of those things. You don't. From a personal gaming perspective, these have been great for me because I get to play all of these games for free because other people are paying for it for me.
I understand the joy comes from playing the game itself, not the loot.
This is a life lesson as well. You don't need any of the flashy shit. Trying to avoid it is a losing battle, better to just understand it.
2 years ago if you had asked me, I would have said probably 75% my next car would be a Tesla. Now it's near 0%. I don't say zero only because I could easily see myself buying a used one if I got it super cheap. Basically Im more cheap than I hate Elon.
