I don't use magisk so I am not sure, but I imagine not.

I just keep getting happier and happier with my choice to use GrapheneOS.

GrapheneOS now supports android auto. Then one thing missing for me is google pay (paying with the phone) as google does not allow it "because of security".

Pixel 7 pro with GrapheneOS. It is great.

The courts gave the idiots an injunction, so while you are right they are not exactly claiming it, they are claiming it is likely true.

And the courts are (a part) of the gvt last time I checked.

So the gov wants to claim the FDA did not regulate mifepristone hard enough, but this is perfectly fine. What a world.

Please try to re-read what I wrote. I am by no means defending issuing a clearence to Jared. I am saying the president is given this power by law, and in my opinion for a good reason.

Therefore Trump should definitly be held accountable by voters (as in no self-aware being should vote for him), but it is not a legal issue. What he did is (and should remain) legal.

Presidents and politicians in general misusing their power is always an issue. That being said, there is nothing wrong with an elected representative of the people (president) overriding an unelected official who is his employee. At least presidents are accountable to the people in theory.

So you want CIA, NSA and the other intelligence agencies to have a full on veto power ower who can be president?

As a reminder, its not that long since being gay/trans would disqalify you from getting clearence because "it made you vulnerable to blackmail".

How often do you need your seatbelt? Should you still wear it anyway? And there are situations when wearing a seatbelt can kill you where you would survive without it.

The idea is the same with cops. A properly trained cop carying a weapon all the time would be safer overall by being able to react to violent situations while not posing a threat in non-violent ones. The issue is how incredibly undertrained most US cops are.

And yes, if they are not sufficiently trained, they should not carry a gun period. Not in their car, not anywhere.

How does that work? I thought being a cop was not so dangerous that they needed a gun at all times...

Seems to me like it would make more sense to want the cases to go simultaneously since the civil case can use any evidence and admissions from the criminal case.

If they are tried at the same time, there is a chence that would not work because of deadlines to submit evidence.

UK has almost no privately owned guns. US has more guns than people and its gun laws are nuts.

Obviously. I am pro gun relatively to where I live but the US gun laws are crazy. You should do something about that.

Suprise, not all nations are the same. But hey, if the cops agree or you can find replacement cops for those that don't, then go for it.

It is just funy to me that people have so many ideas how cops could do their jobs better, and hate on them but refuse to actually become cops and put it in practice.

Either way, if enough cops are ok with it then go ahead, and have them not carry firearms. No issue then.

Most countries don't have more guns than people in them.

I would love to see all the people asking to disarm police officers apply for the job once we do. But its so easy to make these claims from the safety of your house. Who cares about actual realistic solutions?
