  • A LOT more Twitter ragebait, but not an astronomical amount more than what the site already had. /r/all was largely just many clones of /r/funny wearing a mask, or clonea of WhitePeopleTwitter (ragebait central) wearing a mask.

Sad to see AccidentalRennaissance also joined the ranks as yet another /r/funny clone.

  • I read that this was stated entirely as a joke, and I read that 2 months ago in the middle of people looking for pathetic excuses to not stop using reddit.

I thought Lemmy would have stopped propagating it without a source.

  • I really would like that styling was a part of the structure itself too, but way before then, I'd love for JS and HTML to be coupled closer together. The way Angular/React/etc couple things at render time is just way more straightforward.

Unfortunately, I can also think of a bajillion reasons why Js should stay decoupled.

  • Whenever I see this game in action, I get that weird impression I get from watching other Adventure-Style sonic fangames, where the character is boost-y and float-y just enough that they can ignore and skip large chunks of the geometry in stages. I'm sure that perhaps the game isn't all much like that in action, but always appeared unappealing and I haven't been able to pull the trigger.

  • When I see someone parked awfully, I do give them the benefit of the doubt that they might have parked where there was room, and someone else before them parked even more absurdly bad.

But I wouldn't if they show up making that kind of a scene.

  • Same thoughts. It was a good game that ended up not really having new ideas as you went along and compensating that hole with "pad out grinding". I still beat it fully, but I don't quite have good feelings for it out the other way. For the gameplay. Spritework was great.

  • Nah, none of this explains the Lemonbalm Tea incident.

I assure you, the Lemonbalm Tea incident does not require further explanation than "whatever many steps you think is the answer, you can add plus 2 to it and still come up short".

  • Utterly useless without connectivity to a watch device. I used both a mi band and let the game run on my mattress and the band actually noticed the times I woke up in the middle of the night and fell asleep again, while the phone just kept chugging on deep sleep. I can't trust its numbers.

Also, I'm lucky to have an actual OLED screen, so I'm not concerned about the way the game does screen off. But most don't and this game is way more wasteful too.

  • It shouldn't be THAT broken, however, broke it absolutely is and there was even some github issues on the matter.

Apparently a side effect of lemmy.world going into maintenance so often is that the hot sort refreshes itself a bit.
