  • Especially since they started showing advertised businesses to me on the map. I've never been to a McDonald's, Google, and I know you know this about me so stop preferentially showing them when I pan around my map!

Also please let me filter my search results. When I search "coffee shop" it'd be nice not to have to scroll past all the starbucks and gas stations to find small businesses.

  • This is my number one giveaway for AI gen. There's definitely a style out there which only shows flat, even lighting, with the subject viewed from directly in front. AI Female 44 in the OP is one such example

  • Holy shit I thought I was the only one. I've thought about this for decades! I think it would be so cool to have access to and comprehension of an omniscient record of my life after I die.

How many liters of urine did I expel? How many birds have I seen? What is my most used word? How many miles have I traveled? The data is endless!

  • Also "on hand" means easily accessible in case of a panicked emergency. Not buried behind the bikes in the garage. Not stowed in a drawer because "it didn't match the decor."

And replace them regularly even if you never use them. The only thing worse than not having a fire extinguisher is thinking you do have one and finding out it doesn't work at a critical moment.

  • It's this (the service charge) or they raise prices across the menu. Some people prefer this, some people prefer the added cost baked in.

Personally I think the service charge is a little deceptive because you are hit with an unexpected expense at the end of your meal. Even if they're very up front about the charge most people won't be automatically calculating the 18% extra on whatever they're spending, they're just going to look at the price on the menu.

  • This is truly exceptional advice. Those two bullet points alone will take you so far in your journey to good health.

I'll just add that it's OK to start slow. The only person you need to compare yourself to is yourself, and if you're not doing any exercise today then even just 20 minutes a week is improvement.
