  • Not a connoisseur, so take what I say with a grain of salt but... Isn't the appeal of it, the significant personal interaction? You can't get that by ripping a couple vods. The ability to live chat (and throw paid messages their way), and have them respond, seems irreplaceable.

  • So, I don't trust them to have actually done what I'm going to describe, (and honestly I've just accepted that even with everything off, they're still giving me ads based on stuff I've only talked about and never clicked or written anything), but:

The programs that recognize specific phrases(Ok Google), are always separate from normal voice recognition (and much much lighter in terms of processing). So, if they weren't Google, they might have left the "Ok Google" recognition on, but not process anything else that the mic receives.

They're probably still listening in though.

  • Nope. The writing is deterministic. "The wearer 1. falls asleep (time amount) after wearing, AND 2. awakens (time amount) later, feeling fully rested.

One doesn't depend on the other. It's just what the mask does, step by step.

I only worry if it makes it impossible to wake up at all...

  • The mask, the penny, and (depending on how hand-wavey you get) the glasses, are on a different power level than the other two.

7 extra hours of life per day, at full rest?

On demand money(gambling), or better(anything else, like applying at a school), though unreliably, once a month?

Auto-navigate to your desired outcome when other people are involved?

    Yeah, life-breaking shit

  • Employee layoffs have nothing to do with the work a company has/intends to do.

A great video by Moon Channel, explains this and other things, about how the layoffs are 100% performative, to appease investors, in a literally manufactured hype cycle.

I personally think that the same goes for 100% 150% of all public statements these companies and their leaders make.

They don't make sense, because they don't have to. They're not meant for you.

  • All languages always, have evolved at rapid rates, as long as they're used. If you went back in time to, say, the 1600s, you would sound stupid. If someone from the 1600s went back to the 1200s, he would sound stupid. If you went back to the 1200s, nobody would understand you.

This is not a new thing, it is how our languages work.

  • Already not blind for the first half of the game because there was a wild Alpharad once.

Spoilers don't hold power over my enjoyment generally though, so gonna I'm go check it out either way

Also I crave the difficult platforming.
