My guess is that she signed a contract with Meta that prevented her saying bad things about them, and the contract said that disputes would be handled by an arbitrator of Meta's choice.
Thanks for the tip, unfortunately I don't use Plex I'm on the Jellyfin side but someone pointed out there's another app connected to Audiobookshelf so I will use that next time.
Interesting, I was expecting this to be at the beginning not recently, but it seems it was open source up to 2017 - but I'm now realising that 2017 is fast approaching a decade ago so might not count as recently.
Ooh thanks for the reminder. It's installed on my phone but I've never actually used it. I think I forget to use it when it comes to actually listening.
I love Audiobookshelf, my main complaint is the Android app crashes when killed by Android (so when I try to open it I get a message about it crashing and then have to reopen it). That might just be a me thing.
I used the tool Libation to download my Audible books. There was a Firefox extension to download audiobooks from Libby but it's no longer working because Libby changed something and the dev didn't have time to fight the battle, anyone have a good solution to that?
Ah now you mention it I remember that being a NZ company. And yes, looks like Tencent bought up shares to get a majority stake, then the founders sold their shares to make it 100% Tencent owned. Good to know.
This does appear to be the worlds shortest article. I'm curious if anyone knows what NZ games I should be on the lookout for? I know about Mini Metro, Mini Motorways, and DREDGE. Any others?
There is a troll currently spamming NSFW images to popular communities. Report them, they will get removed. But they just make a new account and keep going. It will just be a battle until they get bored, there aren't many tools available to fight it.
I don't like my chances of swaying IT. The organisation is too big and I'll get told I should be using Edge which is the only officially supported browser.
