How many feet of extension cord will a home owners association let be seen drug out on the front lawn?

What if there are no exterior outlets? You going to leave a window open with an extension cord fed through it? Maybe fine if you live somewhere without neighbors... probably a good way to get robbed otherwise.

What is the exterior outlets were shittily installed and are aren't rated for whatever your particular flavor of electric vehicle you purchased?

Live in an apartment complex? Not on the ground floor? You gonna bust out somebody's window to get to their outlet?

Things will always cost more than you think.

Learn about book keeping, even if you don't start out doing your own book keeping, and do your best to maintain good book keeping practices... the easier you make it for an accountant to look for tax credits, profits, losses, depreciation, and potential write-offs the easier it will be to spend money paying an accounted to make sure the stuff is done correctly. And if/when you start doing your own book keeping and working on summaries if definitely helps to mentally make sense of what's going on in your business.

If you only have one source for some vital supplies or service, its a very good idea to be on the look out for alternative sources and be ready to find substitutes for those supplies/services.

You get to say "no". If you only want a small shop that does business with a "X" amount of clients/customer, you are under no obligation to try to provide goods/services to "X + N" amount of clients/customers. So long as you can work sustainably, its not your job or purpose to supply the entire "market". If there's more demand than supply, its okay for some other person to start their own thing and serve some of that ample demand. So when people start to complain that you aren't "big enough" or that "you could have a bigger business" when you aren't interested, tell them "no."

Well... the hybrid car thing makes sense. How many places are built to have charging stations everywhere you'd park your hybrid car?

If you mange to afford buying/leasing/renting a hybrid car, that doesn't mean you can afford to build out a charging station at your own home. Hell, you may not even be allowed to modify your existing property even if you could afford it.

So you wind up driving an electric car that is kept charged by a lawnmower engine burning gas instead of driving an electric car, charged from the power grid, with an emergency gas powered generator to increase your range or compensate for when the batteries' capacity degrades.

Well... sometimes people actually and honestly thoroughly read and article. The might even go back and reread it.

Other people read an article but by read they skim the first few sentences of each paragraph and skip to the next one unless it seems like the rest of the paragraph might have more useful context.

Other, other people will read as far as the headline or mmaaayyybbbee the first few paragraphs and decide to drop a post about it.

So... "read" instead of read seemed more appropriate in this context.

Interesting articles probably don't need to be "read" by the poster before they're posted.

I'm a lazy person, and stick to my echo chambers pretty solidly so having a bit of the "outside" trickle in is fine.
