Don't let your employer use your personal stuff for their needs. If they need you to have a phone for work, then they need to provide that, and you can leave that at work. The same with Alphabet- and Meta-services; that stays on the employers devices, never your own.
I partially agree with you, but hosting and serving video is expensive on that scale. The cost of that has to be covered somehow, and for those who don't pay directly ads are generally the only way currently available. And companies don't want their ads associated with some kinds of content, which makes perfect sense. Would you like it if your name was associated with pornographic depictions of carebears?
Video is a massive amount of data just compared to images, not to mention plain text.
That's easy, I just tried it and I haven't used GIMP that much in total and not at all in the previous year and a half.
You can draw a box with the paintbrush tool. Or if you want the lines to be totally straight, use the Paths tool, then when you’re done marking the lines you want (with or without curves) you click “stroke path” and get a window to select how you want the stroke to be. And I figured this out very quickly as a user not very well versed in GIMP.
As I also wrote in this comment; GIMP is meant to be an Image Manipulation Program, not a drawing program. You generally don't use a screwdriver to drive nails into wood, you've got a hammer for that. Sure, you can use a screwdriver for it in a pinch, but it's not going to do it well. Use the tools most appropriate for the thing you're actually trying to do.
You can draw a box with the paintbrush tool, though. That also fixes your thing about triangle. Or if you want the lines to be totally straight, use the Paths tool, then when you're done marking the lines you want (with or without curves) you click "stroke path" and get a window to select how you want the stroke to be.
That's either selecting the paintbrush and drawing directly (1 click and drawing) or selecting the paths tool, making the path, and choosing the line style (1 click + however many points needed + 1 click + selecting parameters (I just went for the default to test) + 1 click to confirm).
But then again; GIMP isn't meant to be a drawing program, it's Image Manipulation Program. Use the right tools for the right things.
Exactly. The websites only need to trust that the client can receive the content, which the protocols define and we have protocols to exchange what other protocols the client can use. Just use a http://www.motherfuckingwebsite.com
Just thought I'd point out that I don't think you meant palette, but palate. If you did in fact mean "palette" I apologize for my intrusion.
A lot of things are this way in English, if you haven't read the word in the correct context enough it's hard to write it the right way, and if you haven't heard it in the right context it can be hard to pronounce it right.
Aight, then it's visual based on the instance, I guess. Which I would say isn't useful at all, it's the Scunthorpe problem and euphemism treadmill (see people saying corn, unalive, et cetera). Oh well...
Changing it to "removed" instead just drives the euphemism treadmill faster, people will find ways to say the same without those specific words. Whether something is a slur is also very context-dependent. Something computers as of yet aren't well equipped to handle.
