That's really weird actually... I'm browsing my posts both here on Lemmy and on Kbin and there's a serious discrepancy between the two like take this very post for example, on Kbin I see 25up and 6down whereas on Lemmy I see 26up and 19down. The upvote difference I think is attributed to the fact that Lemmy give you 1up by default and from the looks of things, Kbin doesn't. What I don't understand is the difference in downvotes, there's 13down that aren't being accounted for on Kbin, I wonder why... π€ And it's not just this post, it's a lot of my posts, one I made on the Mass Effect community has 17up and 1down on Lemmy and on Kbin it's sitting at 1up and 0down also of note, the amount of comments is off, Kbin has 14 and Lemmy has 18. Very odd. I presume if it's happening to me, then it's probably happening to others as well.
I still disagree with that decision, like he's a public figure regardless of what happens he's producing work and putting his name to it. If people really wanted to, they'd find a way to use his likeness, PC port or not.
And yeah, that's fair. I guess that's why both exist right? To satisfy both audiences. For example I like the 6 button layout of SF, you may think it just leads to useless moves, but it gives you more options in scenarios where you have to make split second decisions. That being said, I think that MK has been rather hollow for a while now, with the same set-ups loops and gameplay. But honestly, my biggest issue is that MK doesn't really have any characters that I'd enjoy playing. Not to invalidate your opinion or anything, of course you are entitled to it as much as I am mine.
Tanya is symptomatic of a bigger issue, NetherRealm has been censoring their characters for years now and it looks like MK1 is undergoing the same treatment all in the name of "realism". But that's not all, I've actually heard the opposite of what you're saying when it comes to the pacing of the gameplay, I hear that it's sluggish, and while the cameos are nice, they only have a couple of different routes you can take when using them. That's not saying you can't be excited for the game, it's just that I am not.
Or a game where you play as Legolas or something. Like, conceptually Gollum is not a bad idea. A game where Gollum has to escape from his pursuers and has to make deep conflicting decisions with his two halfs, like I think that could have been cool if executed correctly after a lot of pre-planning.
Am I the only one who's not interested in MK1 like, at all? I dunno, this title seems so mired in controversy at this point that it's just not interesting to me. Also like, why do they feel the need to keep making their female characters look worse and worse with each new game? I don't get it.
Besides SF6 came out recently and that game has been freakin' amazing only thing I sorta disagree with is the monetization but it's not the worst this industry has seen.
Not at all, I was hoping for advice that I can actually put to use. Saying drop everything and make a new account is not practical nor sensible. Also, when was the last time you were at a party?
Ahhh, that's amazing. An absolute man of culture I say. Wonder what other mods this person has. Personally I perfer the Chun-Li without leggings mods, a bit of "tasteful" nudity. π
Yeah, we can see the same here and I'm seeing multiple posts that contain that one downvote. Kinda strange that it seems to be showing us different numbers. But I dunno, it's not too big a deal really.
