  • Hmm, don't worry I won't spoil things for you.

  • Absolutely not baseless, they have a proven track record of bad work. I'm merely stating that I won't hold my breath for this one, if it turns out good then great, but otherwise I wouldn't be surprised.

  • Playing through Baldur's Gate 3 at the moment and this feels most appropriate.

    Sidenote: love your name

  • Yeah, you're right I completely forgot about that. But I'm pretty sure there was only a limited amount of content available in the early access.

  • How the hell? How long have they had this game for? There's no way they've got a "complete" guide for this game.

  • Saw this announced on Max's stream and it was so damn hype, that guy pretty much single handedly brought this game back to life.

Sidenote: I didn't realize it was Iron Galaxy making the update, that sort of has me worried. Iron Galaxy isn't really known for it's quality PC titles. πŸ˜…

  • Cataclysm on Lemmy? Hell yeah, shout out to Rycon one of like 3 total Cataclysm content creators. As for obscure games I've played...

I guess it's more of a sub genre but the rhythm + other game genre like for example the most popular being Hi-Fi Rush and Crypt of the Necrodancer. But have you heard of Metal Hellsinger or BPM: Bullets Per Minute? All excellent games in my opinion that take a game genre like in BPM's case the rougelike genre and changes things up by mixing it in with rhythm game mechanics.

  • Arcade Paradise is amazing and I want to highlight it for everyone.

  • I can't agree more.

  • horror

    Jump
  • Currently fresh in mind; Garten of Banban

There's something instinctually terrifying about that damn bird. Genuinely good horror.

  • Xenomorph, and Ripley? That would be dope as hell.

Edit: Wonder what outfit they'd give her.

  • If it helps, Rayman 2 and 3 are available on GOG. But I get not wanting to split your library.

  • I agree that Lemmy and the Fediverse is a really awesome concept and I'm glad to be here. And yeah, I just won't worry about it then, thanks for being so insightful. You've been a big help.

  • Oh shiiii, I wonder if Rayman will become a nintendo property, sure as hell seems like they've been inching further and further in that direction.

  • What is this article even saying exactly?

Edit: wait, is this saying they could make to game super cool... but didn't? Why not make it "wild" during development? Ready for release.

  • Good for her, she's damn good and can do some great things for this industry outside of FromSoftware. I look forward to hearing more of her work.

  • I think there's an easy medium here, in actuality I don't really like the battle bikinis either but I don't think they've gotta go in the completely opposite direction liiek they have. Sonya Blade in MK9 is a great example of a character that looked good and was an absolute badass. Then they went all anti-sex and we got what we got in MKX. You can have both, there's more to good character design than just fan service but it is an integral part of making characters that people want to play as, and I think that NR just doesn't seem to understand it. But also, it's lopsided censorship because the men are bare chested and Goro doesn't wear anything other than a speedo. Then you have SF6 and the way it treats it's character design and it just feels like night and day. I just wish NR wouldn't creatively limit their artists like this.
