I have been looking into this solution, I am concerned on whether it will need a VPN or not. I have one already, but it does not play nice with my current solution.
I won't eat cheese sticks as that happened to me on three separate occasions. Choking is an unpleasant feeling. Which is a really unfortunate thing as I love cheese sticks.
In Linus' defense, I would probably pay the person that wrote and maintains the software that literally runs the world pretty well too. Can't afford not to.
It is Big Godot pulling the strings to entice people to jump ship to their free and open source game engine. The plan is dastardly, but effective. Can't use other game engines if there are no other engines left standing.
Still, it goes a long way when you explain how these things work. It isn't something super hard to grasp either, you just need to know that it exists in the first place. To know that it isn't just technomagic and has a proper rhyme and reason for the way things work. I have seen far too many people use their documents folder as their everything folder scattered without a care.
Corporate suicide is so hot right now, all the cool companies are doing it. Are you really even trying if you can't feel the pain of the bullet in your foot?
The problem with that is that it relies on the idea that people are able/willing to pay and aren't willing to try something else. Game devs are naturally technical people who are okay with trying new things if their current solution stops being an option. Then there are indie devs who must work cheaply or they will not make anything off their games.
Its a bold strategy cotton, let's see how it plays out for them.
As one of those people who didn't understand what file systems and directories were at 18, it isn't taught in early school so you don't notice it is a thing that exists until you stumble upon it yourself. I distinctly remember the day it clicked and it felt like I had had an epiphany.
Once you break that basic barrier then you rely on your interests to take you further. I went from not understanding that to being a Linux guru in years time, so I fully believe if the desire to learn is there, it will happen. It is just not mandatory to learn anymore. So most people don't.
I had the same problem with "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Instead of "Ladies" I heard "Legs" So it was a song about people losing a leg because they got careless and didn't show appreciation. So now they are on the look out for new ones.
