Shift 2 was actually pretty good, I forgot about that one.

The last good NFS was Hot Pursuit and that was 15 years ago.

World Rally Championship in the arcade was my first experience and have been a fan ever since. Even though I have EA WRC, Dirt Rally games and a wheel/pedal setup I mostly play Art of Rally.

UBOAT, submarine sim and even though it gets very tense at times it is also quite cathartic.

Euro/American Truck Simulator, its the perfect game to chill to and I have been known to fall asleep while driving :/

God of War on the PS4. I dropped off for about a month but I'm back and just picked up the Blades of Chaos and finishing off a couple side missions before I progress.

I'm sorry to hear that. Obviously we don't know your situation but I just want to say that gaming doesn't have to be expensive so hopefully you're back to it sooner rather than later.

I've been playing some Bomberman.

I feel like I've started so many games these past weeks and months but haven't stuck with any... but I guess nothing new for me really as I never finish games anyway.

Switch 1 would be my recommendation.

I remember it being pretty good. I played it with the dodgy controls before they released a huge overhaul patch to fix loads of issues but haven't been back to it since.

It was supposed to be a trilogy too.

Man this brings back good memories.

A great read as always. Thanks for the Xbox tip, that shit was annoying having the hub pop up instead of launching the games. If it wasn't for quick resume I think the Xbox would be gathering dust... all the updates to it nowadays are ruining it more and more.

That's probably mostly true but optimisation is becoming a lost art form that some devs just don't know.
