  • The study the article is talking about, is a possible solution to cover California's solar energy glut problem during the day, because the state doesn't have enough batteries. It is a case study. In trying to do that, it may create other problems, such as infrastructure to get people to charge their cars during the day while they work. This means employers must pay or get somebody to pay for chargers at the work place, adding onto more costs onto the employee and/or employer. Nighttime charging may be cheaper and more convenient, but remember, the study wants you to capture all the wonder solar power during the day, not use potential green house gases from natural gas at night. The more complexity, the more problems you have.

  • You don't know what you are talking about. Just because Session is a fork of Signal doesn't mean it isn't better. Session adds identity protection and it is decentralized. There is no personal information needed to create accounts; no phone number or email required. There is no metadata storage. Had the Trump cabinet used Session instead of Signal, there would be no evidence to the identities of the individuals messaging each other. Signal requires a phone number to have an account which traces to an identity and metadata that logs time and date. The leaked war plans were not from encryption failing, but traceable identities by an insider.

  • The EU is about totalitarian control. Every EU country, under the predisposition, should submit to the EU as to create a single country under one control. Totalitarianism is the way they unify Europe into a single bloc. The problem for the EU is that it has to deal with nationalism, and the many nation-states. The nation-state is the major stumbling block to EU ambitions. The EU wants to be like the United States of America as a single country. Brexit is part of this failure to subjugate nation-states.
