  • The economy doesn't care what people aka consumers want anymore. At shareholder insistence of sabotaging the future for a short term stock boost, they merge, buy, and consolidate to eliminate competition, lay off their talent crippling that sector's ability to provide the product/service they existed to provide in the first place, and laugh all the way to the bank offering broken, useless shadows of once useful products/services because where else you gonna go? We ate the ones that made superior products and put a stop to that bullshit!

The ultimate goal of capitalism is to end competition. This is the terminal stage. The nowhere left to grow/metastasize fire sale before their grift collapses, with it's tentacles gripping captured world government's throats, ready to take them with them as it perishes and the winners run away to their global havens and bunkers, mischief managed, wealth of nations siphoned, pillaged, and stolen.

    Fucking Suckers.

  • And the terminal stage capitalism enshittification continues with nary a pitchfork or guillotine to be found.

Fuckers will be a hundred feet deep in their luxury bunkers, and half the choking peasants all working for one of 3 monopolies that own the entire crumbling global economy will still be like "we must stay the course. We've sunk too much gambling into this fallacy to quit now, cough."

    Humans are silly, silly creatures.

  • "Gas is a little more convenient, so lets destroy our sole, shared, communal ecosystem we all rely on from one breath to the next so I don't have to wait for my car to charge."

Oh humans, don't ever change. For Earth's long-term sake, we need to make sure we commit to our species' mass suicide for short term profit and convenience. No half measures.

  • "Pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps) is a common condition of the beard area occurring in up to 60% African American men and other people with curly hair. The problem results when highly curved hairs grow back into the skin causing inflammation and a foreign body reaction. Over time, this can cause keloidal scarring which looks like hard bumps of the beard area and neck. Shaving sharpens the ends of the hairs like a spear. The hairs then curve back into the skin causing pseudofolliculitis barbae.

A 100% effective treatment is to let the beard grow. Once the hairs get to be a certain length they will not grow back into the skin. For most cases, totally avoid shaving for 3 to 4 weeks until all lesions have subsided, while applying a mild prescription cortisone cream to the involved skin each morning. Shaving every other day, rather than daily, will improve pseudo-folliculitis barbae. If one must use a blade, water soften the beard first with a hot, wet washcloth for 5 minutes. Then use lubricating shaving gel (Edge, Aveeno), and the Aveeno PFB Bump Fighter Razor or the Flicker razor. Shave with the grain of the beard and do not stretch the skin. Use only one stroke over each area of the beard."

  • I don't believe in dress codes being of benefit, but this is strictly Texas being a dick.

I was in the Army (for school, the cause sucked), and African American soldiers were often CORRECTLY given a shaving profile, aka a waiver due to ingrown hair shaving issues especially in field conditions, and it wasn't a deal. At all. In the fucking military, the (understandably) pedant, rule follower, uniformity kings.

The Texas government just doesn't want to make reasonable accommodations because they're racist pieces of shit who believe they can legislate those outside their rigid, white nationalist, stepford aspiring in-group out of existence.

  • Mood.

  • I don't think many people want to feel the need to boo humanity.

Our actions and history just provide precious little to cheer for.

Maybe that would be a good starting point. If we, as a species decided to end homelessness (and I'm sorry this needs to be stated, but with homes, not mass murder) for example, that might start to earn some good will, some pride for humans in humans caring for one another.

Until then, yeah, boos and rotten produce are an appropriate review.

  • Would be good timing wise if it was some box or building up there we set up to be visible a new civilization would probably want to reach.

Kind of a "you made it to the moon, well done, you're right around the stage of technological development where we really amped up fucking ourselves up..."

  • Such a platform wouldn't get tens of millions in corporate bribe dollars legally deposited into the candidate's BribePac, and would get nothing but hit pieces by the corporate owned media. The oligarchs own this fucking place. This isn't a class war, that was about 50 years ago and we surrendered without terms, this is a class occupation.

We can revolt, or we can wait for collapse. The good news? Capitalism is eating itself with no new places to grow/metastasize its grift, so we might just get to see collapse in our lifetimes, us clearly being too cowardly and subsistence opiate (social media, fast food, literal opiates, etc) addicted to revolt.

  • I would just love humanity to get together and make a giant, skyscraper sized plaque in titanium, etch into the moon, or whatever would last the longest to inform any future sapient species that evolves that "We killed ourselves competing against each other over junk. Whoever is reading this, please, CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER, or perish as we have."

Since we clearly, belligerently don't care to survive, it would just be courteous.

  • With no significant new markets to exploit, having conquered the monopoly board, and their grift always requiring infinite growth/metastasis on a finite world, terminal state Capitalism is eating itself in its perpetual need for mooooooaaaaar.

Merging entire economic sectors, laying off their talent, enshittifying their product/service in the process because lol where you gonna go, destroying that sector's ability to provide the product/service it existed for in the first plase, to private shareholder cheers because sabotaging the future will boost profits in the short term, because that's all they care about: the next 3 months.

It's happening in every corner of our economy.

  • If Americans wanted Americans to care about the US, including treason against it, they shouldn't have voted to sell it, including its people, off wholesale to the capitalists.

I'd be angry about treason to our nation, if our nation didn't put many to most of us into positions of perpetual subsistence solely to further enrich our oligarch class that legally bribes and captures state and federal government.

This is where celebrated and encouraged core values of greed and sociopathy, oh I'm sorry "rational self-interest" and "rugged individualism" lead. Betrayal on all sides. No society, just people out for themselves, and those with power/capital inflicting their will on everyone else. The bed we've made.

Musk is a symptom of our American greed disease. We celebrate, deify, and wish to emulate our greediest, most sociopathic of fucks, when we should have been throwing rotten produce at them from day 1 as the Mr. Scrooge/Mr. Potter/Gordon Gecko villains and monsters they are and always were. Musk has the gravitas he has from when ya'll were cheering about his stupid wasteful antics like sending a car to space because he had money to burn. This extends to applauding any other billionaire, or reveling in gluttonous lifestyles of the Kardashians on Reality TV while every population center in the country has a homeless tent city.
