  • Can we start with the con-men hurting/exploiting millions and threatening billions with their "externalities," capitalist Orwellian shorthand for "I already have your money, so my mess is your problem, you stupid fucking suckers🖕🤑🖕?"

Because these bottom feeders are just a symptom of the above's global sociocultural damage. They ruined some kid's afternoons (but when those grown kids are dying from capitalist made climate change induced Cat 6 superstorms, or hungry from the associated crop failures, or the scammers successfully lobby to catch yet another tax break out of the asses of those kid's education funding using their unlimited exploitation bucks, 🤷). It might be cathartic to kick their ass, but it's odd and inconsistent to the extreme considering how comfortable we are with our most prolific con-men being allowed to own, and keep!.. everything, every exploited, scammed dollar, instead of getting their ass kicked as you say.

  • Am I supposed to be mad at these small time con-men capitalists? This is what the modern global economy is all about. Attempting to fuck over the people who aren't you, attempting to receive the maximum while providing the absolute minimum you can get away with without consequences. Their mistake was only slightly miscalculating that minimum where people would feel cheated but otherwise leave minus their money grumbling, but not enough to make it a weird news of the day story.

When's the last time your fast food sandwich looked remotely like the one on all the signs? They look like that sandwich in the ad was a tire that got deflated, deforming under its own weight, at best. Those scammers just had swaths of lawyers and lobbyists to make their false advertising your problem, until now it's just how it is. Deception is a vital component of market capitalism.

Why are you harassing these glorious, aspiring job creators acting in rational self-interest?

  • This is the basis of capitalism.

Both parties lie to eachother, attempting to get more than the other party through manipulation and coercion with whatever leverage each party has, rejecting the pursuit of equitable mutual benefit, and when it is allowed to metastasize into every sociocultural aspect of one's cultural mores and values, as it has here in Corpmurica, it creates a toxic, antisocial group of rugged individuals beating each other to death trying to impress the most successful practicing sociopaths who were the best at dishonest manipulation and exploitation of their fellow humans.

If you want to create a civilization at war with and constantly undermining itself at every level instead of working toward the common good of the species/planet/future, this is the global economic system for you!

But hey, it was all worth it for the free market of ideas giving us so many valuable, innovative choices! It has sesame seeds and no pickles?! No fucking way....

  • "pro life"

Republicans only want the people who can't afford children to give birth, preferably against their will, makes better desperate wage slaves with no other choice in the world save suicide. It's no fun to let these IVF people conceive when they actually want the kid!

Where's the cruelty and schadenfreude in that?

  • Yes.

Enforced, adequately high progressive taxation could do that, in fact we had tax rates closer akin to that prior to Reagan, and at one point our highest tax rate was close to 90% as it should be so as to limit accruing enough wealth to warp our society unilaterally beyond their single vote with media and political bribery, but that died a long time ago in the name of "turning the bull loose."

But then the greediest fucks among us bribed our leaders to get their way, to thunderous applause by idiot conservative peasants and many so called democrats, today's neoliberals, and here we are, planet burning, terminal stage capitalism, good fucking times. But hey, as long as Bezos can have a second mega yacht to keep his first mega yacht company (he really does look it up) I guess it was all worth our impending collapse.

It's important, I think, to remember that our nation, and much of civilization chooses to put property rights over human rights. Some nations do not, many of which are the happiest on Earth according to the world happiness index.

We choose, to be vindictive, petty, murderous monsters, many of which are willing to kill over their pile of crap, and some of which are extremely eager, going by their door signs, to kill over their pile of crap.

But Freedom to roam countries tend to be societies, whereas we're more of a burlap sack fillled with turds, Metaphorically speaking.

  • And remember, because I feel this always needs to be said with such sums...

193 million isn't enough for him, and 193 million plus whatever millions he made in years prior isn't enough for him. He's going public because he's a broken, disturbed human being that looks at his unethical levels of wealth, enough for most of the other humans that live here to live 2 dozen extravagant lifetimes, and still demands mooooooaaaaaar.

Why isn't this widely accepted as severe mental illness?! This is hoarding disorder.

These aren't big ocean house sums. These are buying politicians sums, and they are only achievable through exploiting other human beings and selfishly pocketing most of the value of their labor because you can get away with it.

  • We shouldn't glorify antisocial professions.

Being a CEO of a publically traded company has become a firmly antisocial profession.

These people don't work to benefit society, they work to benefit themselves exclusively by extracting as much as they can from society.

Then again, our culture seems to despise people in pro-social vocations like teachers and nurses, so maybe I'm wrong and we should keep trying to beat each other to death and fuck each other over to "win." Maybe, if we do it well enough, we'll be gone, which means the planet wins.

  • Fuck Kellogg's but buying cereal in those bulk bags instead of in boxes literally makes cereal cost half as much. You pay out the ass for the privilege of a box.

In my experience, you save more buying cereal in bulk than most other foods, even ones more commonly bought in bulk.

  • All Capitalists Are Bastards.

American Cops are bullies, they might beat you to death, but a capitalist... They won't even leave a drop of blood after sucking your exploited husk dry.

Even fascists will remember who they kill as some monstrous victory of hatred in their fucked, genocidal heads, as the murder is the point, but capitalists are the opposite in temperament: cold, unfeeling reptiles. They'll knowingly poison a town of children if it means more profit, pay the paltry fine, and never bother learning the name of the town they poisoned, just an irrelevant speedbump to glorious profit.

It is just business after all. And it's bonkers what that phrase has successfully become an accepted excuse for, despite essentially having the same meaning as "just following orders."

  • The economy doesn't care what people aka consumers want anymore. At shareholder insistence, they sabotage the future for a short term stock boost, knowing infinite growth on a finite world is over. This is terminal stage capitalism, and it's not just gonna be Wendy's, or in the food sector. The snake is eating its own tail as the scam runs out of room.

Capital markets were sold as seed funding to grow businesses, now they dismantle business ability to provide the product/service they existed for in the first place at any remotely decent quality. Economies are supposed to be lowly tools, existing solely to benefit and serve society, a method to more efficiently distribute goods/services within said society. The tail is wagging the dog.

  • I swear, the people obsessed with enforcing one right way to do... everything.

It looks exhausting. I feel kind of bad for them and when they start rearranging other people's work I always think of this sad lil raccoon for some reason:

  • In the future, people's designated AIs will determine compatibility with other's designated AIs.

If our many self-created crises don't decimate our species and collapse civilization at least. Then those left might actually have to pro-socially interact and cooperate with each other to survive. Scary thought, I know. How the hell are you supposed win and fuck over the other person to get more if you have to cooperate?!
