Definitely don't have a problem with emulating games and will probably emulate those titles, but I'd absolutely love to try on actual hardware since emulators can't come close to that feeling of using the actual console.

Fair enough considering I (as a Gen z that calls himself a millennial because I hate how cringe Gen z is) have a few retro consoles.

Sega Genesis & Dreamcast, and PS2. The others I wouldn't consider retro yet. Maybe in a few years, though, but not now.

Definitely looking in the future to get my hands on a Sega CD, Saturn, and Game Gear to have all the greatest retro consoles I could think of. Though that's far off because of how expensive they are.

Okay, I get that they're gonna add something that allows your posts not to be quoted, but what's stopping me from just screenshoting a toot from someone that doesn't wanna be quoted and adding that image to a toot of my own and using it as a quoted toot? Besides the effort of course.

So long as the game doesn't lag enough that I have input lag, I'll gladly play through a game at prettyich any FPS.

Arch, Manjaro, KDE Neon, Lindows (the one that was getting sued by macrohard in the past), Mocachino (not added to DW yet but is on their list of ones needing approval or something/LFS based distro), MX Linux, Sparky, Mint, Gentoo, and Fedora were the first ones that popped into my head almost immediately.

Absolutely no way my parents would have let me on a chat room with random people before maybe middle school or highschool because they'd be worried about their autistic son. So I never got to experience them since by the time I was old enough, chat rooms were dying to macrohard controlled skype.

Early yt was definitely a wild west from my hazy memories. Definitely a much more free and friendly time for the content you could make and language you could use.

Earliest I can recall would either be, from what I can remember, some odd ass yt videos from early yt. Videos that are probably long gone due to things like copyright and other bull. They were the joke videos where they edited shows like Ed Ed n Eddy or Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog. Only a single video from that time that I can remember is still up.

I don't have them as much, but peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches are great. Add some cheese (non-cheddar for me, thank you) slices and I've got a good sandwich.

I also am the type of person to make tortilla "wraps" with just ketchup or ranch and nothing else. Real middle of the night or there's nothing else good to eat type food for me.

Cannot say I'm a fan of uncooked pasta, though, but slightly undercooked pasta is pretty good.

If we're just renaming things, I wanna rename Mar-a-lago to "Nuclear Waste Dump Site #1".

We definitely don't need a 2 yet, but once the hardware for the current LCD/OLED models becomes obsolete or close to it, I would love a 2.

F-Drlid games definitely aren't always the greatest, but I have been recently having a lot of fun with Feudal Tactics.

Had a little bit of fun trying to get their search feature to return no results. Games with no actual end like Ardor obviously return nothin, so they're not fun. Realized that just about every single game I could think of has an entry on their website. And that all the games I play aren't obscure enough to be excluded from their record, even if there's no time displayed.

The only thing that I found that wasn't on their search, from my testing of random titles, was a pokemon fangame: Radiant Topaz. Everything else I tried was on there. Even a Spanish fangame called Pokémon Iberia (which I haven't gotten around to because I can't read Spanish) has a result. Even the short Christmas VN spin-off (prequel-esque story?) Christmas story of Brok the Investigator has an entry, and it's only been out since December.

I don't know. All I can say is it's definitely related to the Internet causing slang to change faster than ever before. That, and the whole "censor yourself because large companies are family friendly pussies" culture that perverts the Internet. So it's probably a combination of things like that.

There are definitely times I wish I could go back to being a kid again, but only in the summer breaks because I didn't have many responsibilities. That, or highschool summer breaks because I spent plenty of time over skype (ewww) with my best friend who I haven't talked to since graduation. Though, I would absolutely miss my current life.

Also, kid/teenage me would be absolutely jealous of current me for some of my stuff, like my steam deck and other consoles I own, alongside various things like how they'd probably assume I have the whole "adulting" thing down by now and how I'm fairly decent at cooking.

Assuming I don't die, I think it'd be fun to travel throughout the World of Twelve in the MMORPG Dofus. It wouldn't be nearly as fun as visiting the world as seen in the animated Wakfu show or the spin-off, but at least I could meet Kerubin and be an Ecaflip.

Otherwise, I have absolutely no idea what game I'd wanna be stuck in because after a long time I'd get bored of just about every game, Dofus included. Though, I assume by the time I start getting real bored of living in Dofus that the servers would be totally gone.

I don't remember the conversations I would ever have on r*ddit. Probably because I basically never got any form of interaction other than up and down votes on things that weren't niche communities like for Pokemon Reborn/Rejuvenation. I assume it's because I only ever started using that old account around end of summer 2020.

Don't know what's going on at 2K, but I gladly took the offer and even got the bundle for a Steam friend I haven't talked to for years.

Absolutely wild and I thought it was some sort of error at first considering right below it they were advertising just BioShock Infinite and their DLC pass thing for more than the whole bundle by a little less than $2.

Even as someone who grew up in the US, I always feel left out of the cultural landscape in a lot of ways. But that's my own fault for walking to the beat of my own drum a lot of the time. I ain't got time to learn shitty new slang or watch brain rotting videos or use most any social media out there (despite the fact I'm doing it more than ever thanks to Lemmy and Mastodon).

But ask me anything about recent pop culture references and slang and I'll draw a blank. Anything from Game of Thrones outside the popular memes like that "Winter is coming!" meme and I'm lost. That horrendous sk*bidi bullshit? Absolutely no clue other than it's 200% garbage. Ask me the latest Internet trends and best I can say is AI filth and ruination most everywhere instead of any of the social media trends that people are actually asking about.
