  • Well, the type of policies like that typically come from one of 2 types of people: communists and fascists.

As much as I hate capitalism, I hate communism even more.

    Edit:

Forgot and didn't notice this was one of the .ml communities. Not gonna continue the conversation because I have the strongest feeling neither of us will argue in good faith.

  • I guarantee the politicians who desperately wanted an end to e2e definitely learned from the communists of the east.

  • I always knew mushrooms were evil and scary and absolute monsters.

  • Krule

    Jump
  • Today really makes me wish I knew how to fly a commercial plane... for reasons.

  • Screw all of humanity. Fake nuclear bomb/missile launches on radar in order to jumpstart the next age of humanity.

I won't be alive to deal with the consequences if someone does accidentally end up firing nukes because of my ghost, so why not make humanity suffer for my amusement?

  • The bigger question is do they care. At worst they get a slap on the wrist by the US government. At best they get to control the narrative and have books like having history books on their platform talk about how the the Allies first striked Nazi Germany because they were lifting the country out of economic crisis and making the world a better place.

I doubt they'll care or listen if EU says stop since they'll just find a way around whatever they have planned to try and stop revisionist ideology from taking hold.

  • Maybe if they had a spine they could, I don't know, do literally anything to impeach Tramp and remove his handler.

  • "powerful enough to run switch games..."

Either I have a bad setup (which I most likely do) for the emulator or it's a game by game situation because I tried playing the new Sonic x Shadows Generations on my switch for the Shadow story. It was fairly laggy and I had to hard resety Deck after using a certain move because it caused everything to freeze.

Emulation definitely worked perfectly when I tried playing fire emblems engage, though, so I'm gonna say it's a problem with SxSG instead of a bad setup issue.

  • It's an absolute battery hog, so I don't use it as often as I want to, but I got an old 90s Sony Discman some time last year. It came with some amazing 90s over the head in ear wited Sony headphones that works real good as well.

Just looked at the Discman and it was manufactured in '92 in Japan, model D-111, and I think it's real cool. I also checked the headphones and they're MDR-W08 in-ear headphones. Absolutely love both of them together, despite the fact the CD player is the biggest battery hog I've ever seen.

Hell, I got a CD for a game that came out a few years back and my Discman can handle it perfectly okay. I would have expected something to change in audio file formats that would have made this harder to do, so that is really cool K can play it so easily.

  • Not the worst rating at around a 60% on Rotten Tomatoes and around a 6.5 on IMBD, but I absolutely without question love An American Tail: Fievel Goes West.

Definitely a fun "sequel" with a lighter tone than the original. Though I will definitely say the Native American mice scenes are definitely outdated and a product of their time if you ask me.

  • Haven't seen Titan A.E. in a long time. Great film. Definitely need to rewatch it.

  • To be fair, it's probably not the same, but there is Spacehey. It is described as a modern Myspace. Haven't logged in to mine for a while since I still haven't learned how to make a profile theme thing, but it's pretty fun (coming from someone who was never there for the Myspace revolution).

  • Yeah, I'm sure all the other countries that banned it also banned it for the same reason. Absolutely nothing to do with the Chinese commies trying to take over the world. /s

I'll believe it wasn't being "banned" because of China when Felon Musk removes his Tesla Swatstikar giga factory out of China. I have an easier time seeing this as a greed driven distraction run by the multi billion dollar disinformation campaign China has been putting on for decades.

Though it wouldn't surprise me if Palestine was an afterthought considering Israel is an ally of the US considering we were one of, if not, the first to recognize it.

  • I kinda wish I could save mine now that you mention it, but I don't have access to my parents emails and they've probably long since deleted the email.

  • I swear, getting a letter and/or email about your piracy is definitely a rite of passage. My parents have definitely gotten a couple for things I've done (since they pay for the service) and I regret nothing.

Probably not accurate whatsoever, but I like to think ISPs and such refuse to drop your service if they're a big enough ISP because that's less money for their greedy cannon fodder of a CEO and won't do anything unless the government or a larger company comes along either serving them a lawsuit or legal letters/documents.

  • I run games like Balatro or Shotgun King or Dungeon Clawler anymore.

I used to run Stellar Initiative for a short while, but I removed it because I kept getting super pissy about losing a single mission in a run and it wasn't good for my health. Don't know why that game in particular made me get all hyper mad, but I am glad that I freed myself from that cursed game (despite the fact it's a pretty good game all other things aside).

  • To be fair, I'd rather abandoned early access games have a warning rather than be flat out unsellable. In an ideal world in my opinion, any abandoned early access game on Steam would be either be set as a free to play game or be marked down to a ridiculously low price like 99¢ rather than being outright unsellable.

I would get it if the publisher and/or developers decided to remove a game, make it real cheap, or outright make it free to play. Letting Steam decide what happens? Maybe as a last resort sort of thing where they send something like an email saying that if they don't do substantial updates and/or reply back, their product will be made free to play or marked at a heavily reduced price.

  • It can be, but there are so much more important forms of activism that I'm pretty sure the people behind RiseUp most likely don't want their bandwidth taken up by torrents.

  • Just like the original, I refuse to watch the sequel because their 3D model for Ne Zha makes them, to me at least, look like an ugly gremlin creature that crawled out of a cave and has just started joining civilization. Movies like Legend of Hei definitely have the better looking depiction of Ne Zha in my opinion.

  • Saw this recently with some silly free to download VTuber software that I don't remember the name of that hasn't been developed in over a year. Definitely would have picked it up just to mess around with it if it was getting updates.
