clicking the browse button to select the file is a hell of a lot easier than opening the file manager, navigating your way through your files to find the one specific one, then make both windows small so you can select a file in one, and drag it over to the other.

And look, its also an example of how you turn nothing into a big, complicated, multistep imaginary issue.

its not the 40 hour work week thats the issue.

Its how much productivity is demanded in that 40 hours. and the compensation for it.

and theres a LOT more productivity demanded from workers today, than there was in 1950.

Because all the technologies that were supposed to make life easier... didnt. They just increased the amount of things we can/have to do in a day.

People working today are doing more labor, producing more effort per hour than 70 years ago, but are being paid less in purchasing power for it... and if thats not a recipe for violent upheaval i dont know what is.

Then a half assed linux port, that doesnt work, thats a waste of time, that will be unused and hated, and be held up by devs as an example of "Well, users don't use the linux version, there for linux isnt a viable target for us to bother with"

of the few games I've played that had linux versions (Cities Skylines 1, Eurotruck Simulator, American Truck Simulator, Rimworld from what I can recall off the top of my head, there have been others that i cant recall off the top of my head i'm sure), None of them were worth a god damn.

At best unstable and slow, at worst laden with bugs and issues.

Either way, playing the windows version via proton offered a better, more stable, more reliable experience.

Running an APU with a GPU isnt less complication.

its more complication.

Significantly more.

Cause now you are gonna have to balance the same work across less CPU power, you also now have to manage two GPUs, and switching between them, and hoping games run on the right GPU (which I bet you there will be many instances where they wont).

APUs are great for istuations where you cant have a dedicated GPU, like a handheld device, or a small formfactor device, where you can use the GPU part of the APU for media processing/playback and light gaming.

APUs are a waste of money if you including a dedicated GPU.

my favorite thing is that you can only get the proper UI scale and zoom level at 1440p in the rerelease Sims 1.

Its just mindboggling.
