Running an APU with a GPU isnt less complication.

its more complication.

Significantly more.

Cause now you are gonna have to balance the same work across less CPU power, you also now have to manage two GPUs, and switching between them, and hoping games run on the right GPU (which I bet you there will be many instances where they wont).

APUs are great for istuations where you cant have a dedicated GPU, like a handheld device, or a small formfactor device, where you can use the GPU part of the APU for media processing/playback and light gaming.

APUs are a waste of money if you including a dedicated GPU.

my favorite thing is that you can only get the proper UI scale and zoom level at 1440p in the rerelease Sims 1.

Its just mindboggling.

the driver isnt the person making the fees. they are getting screwed just as much as you are

I've heard the rereleases are very buggy and crashy.

the only thing an APU brings in that situation is wasted hardware and less cores/threads than an equivalent cpu would have.

1. I agree. I dont know what they've done behind the scenes, but it seems like every major update to the steam software makes it slower, less responsive, and a worse experience. I really wish we had the steam we had 5-6 years ago, performance wise. It was lightning fast compared to what we have today.
2. Something like a DualSense 5 would solve that problem. I'm not saying buy a DS5, cause its pants on head stupid expensive, but a controller like a DS5 that has a built in touch pad that acts as a mouse in desktop mode definitely makes getting around and interacting easier.

Yep. Used to be cautious about it working, having to check protondb before buying/installing/playing and what have you..

I just install a game, even a new game, and it just works. No thought, no concern,no issues.. OS related, that is, it obviously doesnt make buggy games not buggy, so buggy games are still buggy, but thats the games fault, and you'd run into that regardless of the OS.. Like Cities Skylines 2 bad performance, or modded minecraft crashing due to mod things.

Want to be specific so someone doesnt follow my post with a predictable "WELL I PLAYED insert known buggy game AND IT STILL CRASHED AND I DIDNT GET A BLOWJOB FROM BETTY WHITES GHOST OR ANYTHING, YOU LIAR!"

The greed during covid exploded. especially where companies felt people were stuck/captured, like delivery services.

I wouldnt be surprised if they start dying soon from their short term profits from gouging running out.

"Estimated Taxes" is where they hide all the bullshit made up fees and imaginary taxes that are pure profit and increase profit margin, but if they listed it as "Customer Fuck-over Fee" people would obviously stop using it.

They've claimed in the past they don't want to appear "biased" by cracking down on right wingers for rules violations. but honestly, it was obviously bullshit since they had no problem with "biased" appearances when cracking down on any other group, and often for far far far less than what right wingers routinely get away with.

Watch lets plays and tech channels, every day, for months.

Accidentally watch 30 seconds of a right wing psychopaths video because they buried the lede with the video title, and all youtube wants to show me for 2 weeks is right wing extremist bullshit, and takes months to get back into getting suggested the shit i normally watch on the daily.
