I believe you could scrape by on a state pension if you have your accomodation paid for, but it'd be absolutely no frills and if your rent is £1000pcm, you're absolutely fucked.

It's just an anecdote, but I've experienced a lot of people saying "I'd vote for a dead dog over Trump", who for some reason still wouldn't back a democrat that didn't look like and sound like a mummy.

I think that pretending there is no other option and having to hold your nose while voting for Biden is very weak.

Many have said, "I'd vote for a dog/potato/cadaver over Trump", so if that's true, it actually doesn't matter who you pick in place of Biden. So let's pick literally anyone who doesn't look like they've stayed up too late at the old people's home.

I think that the POTUS should be extremely competent given how serious the job role is, I actually don't think that should be a controversial, let alone delusional point of view.

Biden's cognitive capacity is clearly in decline and if he manages to win he'll be 85 when he leaves office. Tell me one other person with a job role as serious as his that's served by someone like that.

Yes, I know Trump would be a disaster, that's exactly why it's so important that the democrats put forward the best possible candidate they can and if that's Biden, I think we should all be very worried.

I'm not voting for either. I'm not American. I'm just concerned with the shit state of America's shit choice of candidates for president because of how it affects the rest of the world.

I don't think this is what I was referring to, but very interesting.

It's feed back only in the sense that it can be seen as a success or a failure by an independent observer.

It's not like a tree can see that last year's seeds weren't very good and try a different mutation this year.

Genes are not self aware, mutations do not have an end goal and survival simply comes down to chance.
