  • I got both back in October, and will keep doing so every year. Felt like shit for a day or so but still WAY better than the alternative.

  • It's also not like he can retaliate in any way (other than trying to provoke his supporters into acting). They are set up for life, and can continue to influence the country for years to come with or without him. They may choose to let him drown.

  • I'll second this. I hate "normal "golf but Top Golf is pretty fun. I like being able to get food and drinks too. It is quite pricey though so I don't go very often (unless someone else is paying, lol). The first time I tried it was a vendor-sponsored event and I was like "huh, that's kinda fun actually."

  • That would at least have some data to back it up. This is just a man-child throwing a hissy fit because the free market decided it didn't want to do business with Twitter.

  • I pumped gas at a brand new Shell station over the weekend. The controls for the pump was one GIANT touchscreen (I'm talking probably 12 inches wide by 36 inches tall). It was fucking PAINFUL to use. Every touch took 2-3 seconds for the action to happen. Da fuck is wrong with a regular pump and regular buttons that just work!?

  • Serious question, if the orange dictator returns to power does this actually...you know...stop him in anyway? What happens if he just does it anyway? It's not like there will be any consequences...

  • It would be fucking hilarious if he gets a subpoena to testify and shows up in a tan suit. Maybe bring a bottle of Dijon mustard just for good measure. I would pay good money to see that.

  • Which would be fantastic, if it weren't for the fact that he has a very real shot at returning to the white house and making this all a moot point.

I still can't believe so many people don't see him for the criminal, con-man, grifter, anti-christ, etc that he is.

  • Hmmm...any guesses if he actually will? Cause I bet there is zero chance that he does.

  • I thought crazy pillow dude was the cybersecurity expert. He hosted those cyber symposiums after all. Clearly he must know something us lowly IT folks don't.

  • Or just brainwashed. Having grown up in a conservative, christian, home-school household I was told to vote R no matter what. I didn't really know any better until I got out into the "real world" and understood what a bullshit take that was.

I now vote "fuck the GQP" every chance I get. That included the recent ballot issues here in Ohio for abortion rights and legal marijuana.

I would also call myself agnostic from a religious perspective. Though I would lean more atheist if pressed.

  • Hard to believe that movie is almost 25 years old and just as relevant today as the day it released.

  • It's only 30 million users, the other 900 million are recruiters.

  • I remember when we bought a house 8 years ago (seems like a lifetime now) talking to the mortgage broker and he basically said they straight-up ignore medical debt because everyone has it and nobody would ever get a loan if it was considered. It's utterly insane to me how the wealthiest nation in the world can't keep its citizens healthy and out of debt.

  • I'd be perfectly happy if they were only assholes and not trying to actively dismantle democracy in the US.

  • So you want Russia to become more powerful by conquering Ukraine?

This is a US wet dream, we shut down Putin without a single US causality. Not to mention we get field-testing of weapons that have never been deployed on a battlefield.

This is a win, win, win for the US to keep funding Ukraine even outside the fact that we are helping a country fight-back against a maniac dictator.

  • This is a real tough problem here, not sure how we could possible solve it. Clearly the answer is to throw more money at the CEO.

  • I like to go a step further and say "Per my email dated xx/xx/xxxx (attached)..."

Then attach a .eml file of referenced email. Yes, I'm that petty.
