The same checks and balances meant to preserve democracy can sometimes become the same roadblocks preventing progress; How difficult should it be to enact policies?
Progress will eventually happen. Choosing to place progress first risks enabling smaller groups to concentrate power.
Will it though? Looking at China, Russia or Iran I'm not so certain. In fact it seems to be regressing without anyone actively working for progress.
Can you explain a bit more, please? I don’t quite follow the meaning here. A small group already has most of the power ( money is power and a few have almost all of it ). What is your preferred way to see progress?
