Man, the '80s were a different time
Right before cars were invented!
The sweet spot right after they started slicing bread and right before they started putting crust on it
Now they fly.
They still had wooden dollars back then, can you imagine?
27 years ago was 1998.
I side with Chris Rock on this one.
I think that Will Smith is pussy whipped by his wife and Scientology. I think she uses the church against him, with the threat that they will take his kids away and hide them from him. That's the only explanation I have for his (slightly delayed) response with Chris Rock, and with Will being ok with his wife grooming their son's underage friend and later having an open relationship with him on the side.
So brave. So bold
meh.
I am on team Will Smith with this one. Never give a woman of color a hard time about her hair. I'd rather diffuse a bomb while in shark infested waters. I've been punk rock for 40+ years, had a mowhawk and other hairstyles outside of the norm (people used to want to fight you over this) and no demographic of human being has been more supportive when it comes to taking chances with fashion than black women. This is a hill I will die on
This is one situation where there is no "good guy", in my view.
Chris Rock made fun of someone's medical condition (the hair loss isn't a fashion choice), and Will Smith overreacted.
Yeah, he should have made fun of her for cucking her husband with her sons friend.
I wonder what would have happened if she assaulted him instead of Will Smith.
um, he has at least 7 films in the works, including "i am legend 2", "hancock 2", and an apparent remake of "planes, trains & automobiles". because nothing is original any more unless you slap the guy at the oscars.
They are remaking planes trains and automobiles? With will smith??? I suppose he will play Steve martins character. Who will play the other guy? (Jack Black maybe?) what a steaming pile of shit that will be. Is nothing sacred? I’d probably even watch it just to see how bad it is.
Yeah but is any of it going to be good? None of those titles inspire much curiosity for me, let alone excitement.
Dude slapped away his career
Just to tack on to another comment above:
smacked it real good.
To be posted on 3/27/49.
Just over a month before the hundredth anniversary of Hitler's death!
Not many people know this but Will Smith's uncle is Slappy White.
What a decade this year has been
we went from "let's go back to a future that doesn't exist yet" to "let's go back to a past that never existed"
