Had a medical cannabis wafer last night, I don't think I've ever slept so damn well.

I've been saying "wafer thin mint" all morning much to my own amusement.

I got on the medical stuff a couple of months back and holy shit it's great. A tad pricey, but my consumption is low, so it's manageable.
Hopefully it'll become legal and regulated sooner than later.
- I've been on and off on MC over the last few years (tolerance breaks and financial reasons for the off periods), and nothing has helped me sleep better than MC.
  This is my first time trying the wafer though, and that was a deep sleep

Also had a dream that boyo was participating in a 15km run that started in Melbourne but ended in China - 10km done in Melbourne, then catching a flight to Vietnam in order to run into China for the finish. Huh?!

I'm in zombie mode at the moment.

My daughter's having some friends over next week for some birthday drinks. These are her 4 closest pals and it makes my heart swell the love and bond they all share as she is an only child. They are the most loveliest, responsible mixed bag of young people I've ever met.

The man and I will be in the backyard with a bonfire going roasting spuds and marshmallows because I don't feel comfortable about leaving them on their own considering 3 of them are slightly under the drinking age. (And yes, I do have permission from their parents).

Also I'll be making them some cocktails but they will be a little on the weaker side. They won't know that though.

I remember the first cocktail a friend's parent made for me at 16, some Crem de Menthe abomination. I loved it

- The good old fruit tingle is on the list! Cosmopolitans, illusions, tequila sunrise. Tbh they'll probably only have 1 or 2 cocktails each and then stick to vodka & Solo.
As responsible as you are you're still allowed to bring up embarrassing childhood stories at the worst time.

I suggest Black Russians. They don't taste like lolly water and you can dilute them quite a bit and still feel like you are drinking booze.

  I never let any of them go home on their own. They either get picked up or I'll take them home because safety is so important to me. In return they shower me with love.

Got lost at the hosplital yesterday picking up the ol' boy from a day thing.. twice. Ended up in areas I was not supposed to be in. Shoutout to the nurses there who took me on a little tour and were very friendly about it lol. Honestly whoever designed that thing back in the day (freemasons east melbs) was drunk.

Years ago, Mum and I were in PANCH, had a bit of time to kill. Let's go and have a look at the newborn babies through the window she said. Apparently that's a big no no. We were eyed with suspicion and then kindly told by the nurse "we don't show the babies anymore". Whoops.

He really cleaned up with the postal votes didn't he. The 9,000+ people who voted for the liberal party in our area need to be slapped. He lives in Boronia FFS, and last year pleaded guilty to obtaining financial advantage by deception and was ordered to pay fines and compensation worth more than $10,000. He didn't have a conviction recorded against his name so it wouldn't have come up during a police check. People are entitled to vote how they want, but I'm also entitled to be shitty about it being a waste.

- It is almost as if they won’t let people in the Liberal Party unless they have run some sort of Scam, and gotten off.
  Zahid Safi still managed to get double the votes of Rhonda Garad in Bruce, despite the exposé in The Age.

Melbcat won’t eat her 4cyte in food and it’s an oil so is dangerous to syringe into her mouth while she fights it. ::: spoiler spoiler (You’re not supposed to give oil or paraffin based medicine to kids or animals that are struggling because of the risk of them breathing it in.) :::

And I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure of some random plant oil and thought something else would work better. Only bought the 4cyte on vet recommendation. I might try and get that money back guarantee and buy something different.

Edit: Ah shit. I’m within the 30 days but didn’t buy it from the vet, got it from Petcircle, so not eligible for money back. If you buy this get it from the vet and keep the receipt.

She’s also possibly got a uti again so vet asap

We just had a network outage at work for half hour… so I used it as an opportunity to apply for a job that showed up in my personal inbox and looked interesting, lol.

as much as I would love to watch tellie all day, found a cool series on apple, echo 3, set in Columbia and has my fave Colombian actors in it 🙂, I have stuff to do but first a walk on the beach.

Mrs B convinced my not to pull the trigger on the iphone 16 pro deals. My phone still works fine so shes convinced to me ride it out and just accept that you'll have to pay more to replace mine when it actually dies (or develops a fault I cant deal with). If I end up paying 2.5k for a new iphone cause of trumps tarrifs I'm gonna be spewing but I guess thats future me's problem.
