This is so terrifying and it's all happening at break neck speed. I feel so helpless. It's like some nightmare version of whack-a-mole.
- Their states strategy is to overwhelm the system so it/we cannot cope. I haven't heard of a good strategy to counter this, but we'll need to find one.

  Personally, I think you have to realize that you cannot singlehandedly fight every battle. Then pick one cause that is important to you and go fight for that. Get past the overwhelm and take action on something.

People are looking the other way as this is happening. What if camps are built to more efficiently process those involved, will anyone oppose it? I do not know if it will happen again but what this all shows is how it could and how readily people fall in line.
- Every single post or mention I see that's critical of Trump's mass deportation actions is followed immediately with ''they are criminals, they broke the law'' they are ready for all levels of genocide and there's plenty of sensible kick the can democrats who are ALSO ready to not care when this happens.   They "broke a law" by commiting a civil offense like speeding or not renewing your cars registration. Which is usually followed by a fine and an order to get your papers in order.
  We typically need those people here illegally because they're contributing to the economy. Way more often than not they pay taxes, but collect no benefits. So the best path forward is really basically to offer citizenship to anyone who is employed, residing here and has been paying taxes for X period of time.

This anti-DEI push is literally just an attempt at re-segregating the country. That's why these lists heavily target minorities. Their only goal is for their workplaces and government to be whites only again.
The conservative superpower is declaring somebody an enemy randomly and then making it true by being terrible to them, and avoiding the five seconds of attention it would take to realize they don't actually hate them.

- Info about fed employees' names, job titles, and salaries is publicly available info, bc the government is actually more transparent than the slack-jawed yokels will have you believe. Kinda like how your political party affiliation and whether you voted is publicly available.
- There unfortunately are legal ways to get such information (and much more) with a bit of money, but I somehow doubt they are smart enough for that. I suspect they have someone leaking internal information, which could be illegal.
I think I've had enough internet for a few months.
I just feel so despairing and helpless. I'm not even American.
