Yes. I studied and have a degree in animation. I wanted to work in animation, specifically as a story board and background artist. However, I'm talentless. I attempted graphic design work, but my first gig was with Lisa Frank, and that didn't go well. I searched for more design work and I could only find work in customer service. After a year of portfolio work, applications, etc., I had to accept I just don't have talent and I wasted my money. My goal was to avoid my current job because all I heard growing up was how awful it was. I studied hard, graduated with honors and everything. Still a talentless dumbass who now works in insurance. I will likely stay in this career (insurance) until I die.
I only liked it because I was off. Otherwise, I've always hated summer. I used to dream of having a fall or winter vacation instead. I didn't have AC at home or at school growing up, so if I was going to be uncomfortable, just let me go back. I want to go to the zoo on a nice fall afternoon, not the second coming of Satan's asshole.
Kunitsu-Gami. I tried the demo and spent 8 hours on it trying to get everything perfect, which made me realize I should just buy it. It was a total delight. I didn't expect it, never even heard of it honestly, but I can't stop recommending it.
My friend wants to play games with me last weekend, but I completely forgot. It's something she wanted to do for her birthday since we're states apart and our schedules are weird. She said she's fine, but I can tell I disappointed her by missing such a simple request and I feel absolutely terrible.
However, it was a wake up call. I've been very lethargic and tired, but I just kind of ignored it, but it's now affecting my friendship, so I'm going to try to make some changes to help with my energy. I don't want to disappoint her again if I can help it.
They say this, but if I sat for 5 minutes doing nothing (if it's not my break), they'd be on my ass. I'd prefer the meeting so I can rest my eyes at least while they're talking.
I saw lightening bugs for the first time in years when I moved to the east coast. I was so excited, I caught some and brought them inside to show my cat (I let them back out of course). Next year, nada. So far this year? Also nada. I even made a point to leave the leaves. π
The Fatal Frame series (maybe the second one here and there) and Kunitsu-Gami. The second one surprised me since it's relatively new, but I thought it was a great surprise. I loved the hell out of that game.
BeeCount - A app to keep track of patterns while crafting. I like that I can have an overall row count, but make separate counters nested underneath for the same pattern (ex: You're on row x, but row a for a cable repeat).
Olauncher : A simple launcher for android. Less busy.
Some people don't like the taste? It's like asking why people don't like to exercise even though it's good for them, or they complain about stiffness or what have you. I'm not a huge fan of the taste of water myself, but I drink it because it's good for me and free (once I purchases a filter anyway).
What? You mean a celebrity doesn't really give a fuck about people and just wants to make money? But they were so silly and sweet in their interviews!
Unless this hurts their bottom line, I doubt they'll move. Her behavior is not new and they auditioned and signed the contract anyway, the same way people still buy their house themed merch and take trips to Potter land or whatever the fuck it's called. That woman's growing wealth is a sign of just how little people are willing to give up.
I remember when I first saw an ad for this game and thought it looked neat, added it to my wishlist and everything. I looked it up a few weeks/months later and all I saw were gooner posts, or articles about how she's saving games with her jiggle physics. I removed it simply because I didn't want to be involved with that community. It was so gross. π€’
God I'm glad I'm not a kid now. I never would have survived.
