Also TIL Asuka from Evangelion is low key nazi dogwhistle in AFU.
She was an officer in the Luftwaffe before joining the Evangelion service.
There is official artwork of her in a straight Nazi Luftwaffe uniform.
There are also several swastikas in the show itself.
