  Israel is a vassel of the US, the US has no intention of stopping Israel because it benefits economically. This is something the Democrats and Republicans are aligned on.
  
  I don't think it's quite that simple. Both parties support the US empire, of which Israel is a keystone piece in a vital region.
  But israel's genocide and a wider war in the middle east don't benefit our imperial interests, only netanyahu's career. Without the leverage of an election year, we'd have more political room to reign in our wayward vassal a little.
