Tldr, they are, like all conservatives, unrepentant narcissists who think they can benefit directly by becoming part of the in-group through consistent support of whichever charletain is at the front of the crowd.

You reminded me of the black guy who is in the Georgia RICO case who was the only one that didn't get a bail.
Ya know, a dude with a little mustache led a similar charge about 90 years ago, didn't end well for him.
