Still hope it releases in NA soon, unless they plan to do a realm reborn type move I guess.
Edit: back from reading article. "Big update" is rolling out this month, and looks like the 1-year delay from Japan to global will benefit everyone getting the game later this year.

It's already been a year? I remember seeing ads for this and then nothing. It honestly looks like a forgettable genshin clone.
What about it is a clone of Genshin Impact?
It's an open world anime game with action combat. Sure, there's more to it than that, but at a glance, I can see how people can make that connection.
