  • These are actually interesting numbers. I do not doubt them and -0.99 pop growth per 1000 is "not great not terrible". Upon searching I stumbled upon a world bank statistic claiming that China has had a -0.1 growth rate in 2023 but I assume they are calculating per 100 and just rounded -0.99 / 1000 to -0.1 / 100.

Now there are some developed countries that did worse than China (ahem Germany, Poland, Japan - I leave Russia and Ukraine out of this since both are actively decimating their population) but there are also a lot of developed countries who did better: Australia with 2.4, Czechia with 1.8, Spain with 1.2, ...

Two numbers I also want to mention are the US with 0.5 and the EU as a whole with 0.2. So China is not far away from the West although both are still growing whilst China is still shrinking but the trend is your friend. It would interest me if migration has already been included (I'd say yes) because that usually benefits the growth rate of the US and EU (and is something both are actively fucking up as we speak thanks to conservative ultranationalists).

If you want to look through the numbers yourself: https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.POP.GROW?name_desc=false

In case I messed up the numbers or anything else lemme know - it's 5:30 am CET and I am extremely tired but the numbers sparked my interest.

  • No, I would rather do a side job than selling my nude body - even if I was to keep it as anonymous as possible. I feel very strongly about unauthorized people seeing my private parts - and by unauthorized I mean anyone I don't have a sexual affection for.

And I would be ashamed even more if friends, colleagues or family got a hold of my OF and somehow figured out it was me (for example super drunk me could easily leak myself for whatever stupid reason).

I am aware that I would likely have a fanbase as I am a slim short king in my early 20s but I am making enough with my job and the regular IT stuff my friends and family come up with (building & upgrading PCs, fixing software & hardware issues, helping with privacy issues, selfhosting and smart home tech... the standard stuff) and I feel that I would make less or have less relaxed quality time if I was to do OnlyFans.

As for your friend. If they have any hobby they could make a side job (like I am doing with IT service) I would do that before. I got a creative artist friend who makes artworks and puts them on Etsy and another one does music & patreon and keep OnlyFans as the nuclear option.

  • You're not wrong but that's the German definition.

On the Wikipedia page of "Three Arrows" in the Section "Use outside Germany" at the end of paragraph 2 it says:

"After World War II, the Three Arrows became the official party logo of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) in 1945. The symbol had been modified to include a circle, and the symbolism changed to represent the unity of industrial workers, farm workers and intellectuals. The Three Arrows remained a prominent symbol of the Social Democratic Party of Austria until the 1950s. According to the modern SPÖ, the Three Arrows represent opposition against fascism, capitalism and clericalism."

As to why they changed the definition my guess is the Austrian Social Democrats didn't want to oppose communism because the first republic was essentially a two (or at best times three) party system similar to the US before it drifted into Austro-Fascism and a civil war (foreshadowing for the US) and ultimately got annexed. And until today the SPÖ is more left than the SPD - or should I say their left wing is stronger.

  • Elon only likes countries if and for as long as they do what he wants/likes. Like when he said "Germany rocks" because they allowed him to clear quite a chunk of forest in a water protection area to build his Tesla gigafactory. And now he doesn't like Germany because his donation to a controversial right wing nationalist party is seen as controversial and disliked by the media and public for being foreign interference.

He may like Russia because / as long as he is ideologically aligned to but I am not sure if he loves China except that they let him manufacture his cars cheaply. But I am not the author so I can only make assumptions.

  • He sent Kadyrow a Cybertruck but idk if his friendship with Russia goes beyond that. Btw would a Cybertruck be considered a gift or an insult?

  • I absolutely love the Austrian Social Democrats flag. The three arrows mean crush fascists, crush capitalists and crush the reactionary.

  • Yes, they're a based Pink Floyd enjoyer. :3

  • Oh thanks a lot. I learned the whole thing back in 2015 from a teacher who was close to retirement and who lived and taught the last 40 years in the last hinterland district with more deer than human inhabitants. And at university I didn't take the course because I thought I knew it (and because it was being held on Monday morning) but I probably would have learned it there.

  • My highschool teacher wanted us to use * and / as given in my example. I usually rephrase myself to not having to use / that much but idk if you can just use the male or female possessive pronoun to include everyone (if you use the * at some point in the sentence to make it clear) I honestly just use the / to be super sure.

  • As someone speaking a native language in which I need to rephrase myself multiple times and need to work with multiple / and * before a sentence is both grammatically correct and perfectly gendered - I still take my time because inclusion is worth it - I just don't get why anybody could ever be upset about English gender inclusive language.

    An example:

Every cyclist should wear their helmet to protect their head from injury.

Jede/r Radfahrer*In sollte seinen/ihren Helm tragen, um seinen/ihren Kopf vor Verletzungen zu schützen.

We usually tend to rephrase these sentences like this:

Alle Radfahrenden sollten Helme tragen, um das Risiko für Kopfverletzungen zu minimieren.

All cyclists should wear helmets to minimise the risk of head injuries.
