  • I assume if they’re investigating or vetting anything it’s: will they be loyal to Trump? Anything good to hang on to as blackmail or extortion material?

  • It was one of those one person family bathrooms. I had a 3 hour wait and a bottle of rum.

  • I was pouring rum into it.

  • Right, if all you eat is meat, wheat, corn syrup and potatoes, no problem!

  • I was in an airport bathroom and somehow the auto soap dispenser managed to squirt soap into my open cup of coffee. Fuck those things.

  • He spent billions of dollars to buy 9% of Twitter, was offered a board seat, it didn’t work out, then he made a formal offer. This apparently followed some drug soaked night at Larry Ellison’s, but it was never a joke. Maybe a Schrodinger’s joke.

  • He did overpay. He could have gotten it for cheaper. Considering how much money he has though, and the other primary investors being the Saudis, it didn’t matter much.

  • That doesn’t make any sense because he was the one who offered to buy it in the first place. He signed binding contract to purchase it, then tried to back out prob not because he didn’t want it, but he realized he was overpaying. He has obviously loved owning Twitter as far as the attention and social power he gained.

He should have paid the $1 billion to back out and made another offer, but he’s sleazy, prideful, stingy and stubborn and wanted to back out for free by employing bullshit excuses and lawyers.

  • It’s those darn liberal environmental and labor regulations

  • Peter Theil coffee farm ships

  • Why try that? It’s terribly regressive economic and taxation policy. It’s essentially a huge sales tax.

  • That’s the problem. Trump is a complete fucking idiot, so just because something is a terrible strategy doesn’t mean he won’t do it. Look what happened last time with the tariffs on Chinese goods and the small trade war he sparked that screwed over soy exports. Did Trump learn anything from that? Or his voters? Evidently not.

  • It sure would help if Americans weren’t generally ignorant about uh… tons of stuff and especially anything that involves other countries. All sorts of fruits and vegetables are imported - green beans, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, lettuce, berries, bananas, onions, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant. And then at the same time, the Trump bros want to crack down on groups of people who make up a large portion of the domestic agricultural workforce? It’s difficult to see some conservative policies as intended to do anything other than just fuck people over and cause chaos.

  • But people were freaking the fuck out about the Covid restrictions. Trump opposed them but also made them more necessary for longer. I guess that’s what the average person doesn’t understand.

  • That’s one of the bullshit things republicans have propagandized people about for decades. Wealthy people do better under them, and then generally republicans run some sort of scam that ends up in economic disaster and a bailout.

  • So just not vote for President or vote 3rd party, I guess you mean, which in a swing state is equivalent to voting for Trump.

  • Jesus, still with this. Trump is 100% on board with current Israel policy and would like for it to be more extreme, actually. Why would they vote for Trump?

  • It’s true, his dementia, inate stupidity and lack of interest gives him plausible deniability for many topics.
