i've seen a couple of people play the start, it looked fun

this is exactly what i was looking for, thank you!

i really hope we're moving to a world that realises you can't trust companies and that actually independent, open and community run product testing sites are the only thing worth getting information from - imagine instead of having to guess which powerbank is junk you can look up actual test data and user reports. Maybe AI will be able to organise it all and collate everything so we'll just be able to ask the ai 'what do people say about this' and it'll say 'the recorded range measurements don't match what the company promises, build quality problems are higher than average, also musk is a prat'

this could be a big life saver if it's small, cheap and safe enough for doctors offices to have so they can triage patients and quickly refer them to hospital when needed rather than having to book an appointment for a scan. Could even become a standard part of a routine medical check-up to test for signs of aortic aneurysms or similar, that could be a huge life saver.

from what they say i wonder if it'll be useful tied to a machine able to do near-autonomous endovascular surgery? that could really help reduce surgery wait times and improve a lot of peoples lives.

this always feels like such loading screen advice to me, like yeah thanks game i'll try not to spend more money than i have!

sure there are people who need to be told but 99% of people fully understand that not getting shot is what they're supposed to be doing it's just that the whole game is a constant barrage of bullets from every angle. My finances don't run low because i'm wildly spending money on frivolities, it's the endless grind of necessity and the endless uphill climb towards a stable life - the reality is budgeting is literally an impossible problem, it's impossible to predict how any particular purchase will have an effect on future purchasing power or standard of life especially if you try and factor in social and psychological factors. Even a simple question like 'what point is it financially sensible to replace the threads on your car tire?' is endlessly complex from a budget perspective, maybe allocating that money differently would allow allow a more significant increase in earning potential or save a larger future cost so that it would be more sensible just to eat the larger car maintenance cost later - and this could be as complex an option as looking after your mental health by socialising with friends to help relieve the stress of studying, maybe a better grade results in a better job that comes with it's own car... budgeting is an impossibly complex and chaotic muddle of equations so pretending it's as simple as 'just do a budget' is infuriating.

so much of their problems come from the fact that their biggest generation is old and conservative, it makes social change so much more difficult.

ah yeah i see on https://rpilocator.com/?country=AU that only the pi4 is available from an official seller, hopefully that changes for you soon. We've got pretty much the whole range available in the UK now and for a couple of years it's been really difficult to get any of them, one type would come in to stock every few weeks and then sell out instantly

i actually think plumbing is the thing we'd miss most if it suddenly vanished - collecting water and getting rid of human waste would be horrible chores. Also it's always so nice being able to turn a tap and drink fresh clean water,

the shortage seems to be over, they've increased production and secured chip supply so you should be able to find them at RRP again.

i do agree, i went to an information sharing focused climate protest in a field and the police shut down the whole area and confiscated everything sharp from the vegan kitchen because they had 'intelligence' that green protestors planned to throw ninja-stars into horses eyes.

being bi i know very well that there are genuine threats from evil minded right wing crazies, but also i know just as well not to trust the MET for a second.
