If your point was that religions have oversimplified complex science to the point that people thought they fully grasped it, then I agree with you. Otherwise I have no idea what you are trying to say.

It's had the opposite effect for me, in the past when I'd catch myself doom scrolling I had only pulled the phone out to make sure I hadn't missed a message and then just didn't put it back down.

Now I'll just glance at the watch and see if it's important or not.

I do most of my meal making on the stovetop, but I never bake without preheating.

I don't see any attempts to logic, it's just fewer steps:

1. turn on oven
2. put frozen pizza in

versus

1. turn on oven
2. wait
3. put frozen pizza in
