  • I like mine just because it’s pretty to look at

    and it tastes salty

  • Yes on the Libraries! Libraries are often incredibly cheap for printing, and most of them have an online uploading tool so you can print things from your home computer or phone without any hassle. Plus, at least at the library I work at, we have incredibly high quality printers and your docs / photos will come out a lot better than how they would if you were at home, as well as a scanner that can give you a 600dpi TIFF file

Just please try not to hand us a twenty for something that costs 1/100th of that - we often don't have enough small bills to make change. (Or do and put it on your account for later, if that's an offered option, or better yet donate the remainder 😉)

  • Fantastic list, thank you for sharing

  • I love seeing more competition in the PC handheld market

Yeah it's pretty great to see, especially since in the beginning there were a lot of people saying handheld gaming PCs are very niche and the development won't last long

  • I have an Aya Neo, and honestly running Windows on it (after doing a reinstall without all the bloat), is pretty enjoyable. I get to run all my PC games no problem, emulators, and use it as a portable computer for other things (managing flipper zero files, that sort of thing)

Steam Deck os is pretty nifty too though, that's for sure.

  • I'm hoping to get a chance to start Elden Ring and Middle Earth Shadow of War this weekend

  • That or the fear-mongering talking points. That's what caused our local power plant to be decommissioned, and now those same people are complaining about how much their electrics cost now.

  • This is a good example.

I have a friend who is constantly complaining about having to pay taxes. One of these days I'm going to break and say that his complaining is essentially him shitting on my profession, a public librarian, and that he doesn't respect what I do and how I contribute to society.

  • My biggest aggravation are people who cut into entry lanes whilst in traffic just to get maybe ten cars ahead because their time is soooo much more important than anyone else's.

I had a much longer list of other things that I had typed out, but I cut it out. I don't want to be putting more negative out into the world than needed.

So yes, despair is constant, seeing people have so little regard for their fellow human beings. We're all sharing this world, we're all trying to exist. Though that's not to say it's all bad, there's a lot of very selfless things people do every day too. It's easier to see the negatives, but there's definitely good out there too.

  • Noted, thanks!

  • I've yet to dabble in Mastodon, but this makes me want to properly check it out. Seems like it's only a matter of time before more big names start following suit

  • I alternate between an ipad and my phone, depending on the situation

Kindle Paperwhites are amazing for reading, if you’re thinking about getting one. I really miss mine. I got so much more reading done with my paperwhite than anything else

  • This sent me lmao

  • Adorable!

  • Thank you for giving me a new line I can use to make my fiancée roll her eyes lol

  • Shhh let me compliment youuuu

  • 80%?? Legend

  • That's what I was thinking. With these sorts of announcements, it's normally just 'Well. It'll be what it'll be', but with how great Castlevania was done, there's actually a decent chance this will be solid

  • I always feel so good for solving one, then boom the next puzzle is a slight variation that removes the way I just solved it and it’s like... damn. They went and predicted it and then said ‘fuck you’

  • Yes! Baba is You is so so so good. I love how it makes you think differently
