  • I’m sorry I needed it for school?

I did warn anyone who had access that it wasn’t a 24/7 guarantee.

  • Agreed. Sometimes I’ll get a text saying ‘the plex thing wont load’ and it doesn’t really make sense to them when I say ‘yeah, I took my computer today’

  • You have an older model than mine, I have a mid 2012 Macbook Pro, that may be why

  • People like to perpetuate this about Apple, but it’s really not true. I’ve had my Mac for... over ten years? It can get the most recent version of Catalina, which was updated until 2022. It’s still going strong and I use it every day.

  • Memmy. I tried a bunch, but Memmy is the one I kept coming back to.

  • From my experience they prefer payment that isn’t easily disputed / claimed as fraud. Don’t get me wrong I was more than happy to get the points, it’s just unusual, since they do typically prefer cash / cash adjacent

  • The artist I just got a tattoo from was fine with taking a credit card. I thought it was weird too, but they are out there

  • Everyone here with their 20 year badges about to be unlocked and I’m over here with 9 year badge - curse my 7 year old self for only having access to a gameboy lmao

  • Definitely do! His content is great

  • This is glorious. I really can't wait to get a 3d printer, love this kind of problem solving

  • Get on ADHD meds. The diagnosis is right there, use it. Life’s better on meds and things make a lot more sense.

  • I love CallMeKevin, he’s so funny and generally wholesome, his content is great. Beyond that it’s all over the place. Tolkien Untangled, Wendigoon, Contra Points, Cracking the Cryptic for wild sudoku solving, Ryan Hollinger, a lot of history channels, things like Real Engineering, and coding stuff when needed

  • If this were written by anyone else, it would read as an absolutely sarcastic and ironically self aware lampoon-esque post

  • I can't wait to be sued for kissing my fiancée in public lmao (for legal reasons that's a joke)

  • All of this! As soon as I got a Switch, I knew all of my gaming going forward would primarily be handheld. I always hated being tied to a specific place to play games, be it on an xbox or pc, but there was no other options. The steam deck and similar (I have an ayaneo) have made playing games so much more enjoyable. Being able to play whatever and wherever is just mint (the only downside is I'm reading substantially less than I used to lol)

  • but for skill based reflexive games? Gimme Nightmare :)

Agreed 100%. I played Beat Saber for the first time this weekend, and had to jump up to hard mode because the easier levels were so dull. Those types of games definitely are the best example of 'if it's too easy it's boring'

  • Playing on easy instead of challenging yourself just go get through it is making the games worse for you

This definitely depends on the person, I love when games have easy modes. Games can really make me anxious and stressed, so being able to lower the difficulty improves my enjoyment immensely. Don't get me wrong, I love challenging games too, but that challenge can ruin it for me sometimes too - especially if it's a single player story mode.

  • That's actually a fantastic price point. I have an ayaneo, so I have absolutely no need to pick up a Deck, but this will make it very tempting

  • Borderlands 2, there’s just something about it. I’ve put so many hours into it on various platforms, and it never gets old. The story is so good and I just love the play style. It’s super easy to restart the campaign or there’s always some farming / grinding to do, depending on the vibe for the day
