  • From the court's mouth itself:

"It is difficult in some cases to get to the very heart of the matter. But in this case, it is not hard at all. The government is asserting a right to stash away residents of this country in foreign prisons without the semblance of due process that is the foundation of our constitutional order. Further, it claims in essence that because it has rid itself of custody that there is nothing to be done.

This should be shocking not only to judges, but to the intuitive sense of liberty that Americans removed far from our courthouses still hold dear."

  • Tech Bros like Musk & Thiel spent too much time on 4chan & doing drugs, and with some help with certain other entities, have been spinning 4chan into reality.

I don't have the story you're referencing. But Curtis Yarvin has a quote about that basically his vision for overthrowing democracy was splintering off everybody by spinning fictional realities.. INTO reality.

Partially by splitting everybody into, say different cities (or different social media) where it's easier to control what people are seeing

    🥲

As someone who could have been an incel, it's been horrifying to see 4chan become normalized, become elected and is becoming reality.

  • "I didn't vote for the lady who wouldn't commit to stopping Israel (but I knew wouldn't shred the economy)

even though the alternative was a man very openly supportive of Israel and is now actively deporting pro-Palestine protesters and providing Israel all the weapons it needs

'Cuz obviously both parties are the same"

Quite frankly, I have no respect for anyone who took this position. Whether influenced by propaganda or.. whatever.. I honestly don't know how you can say you didn't see what a threat Trump would be (not you personally), especially in retrospect.

I'm again going to push back and say that a massive propaganda campaign, similar to 2016, is what won them the election. Crypto dumped $146 million into he election. Elon personally put something like $250 million in, AND did the "raffles" to get people to vote (not raffles, it was a lie, admitted in court)... AND he openly used Twitter to influence the election. Zuck is in with the same guys that Musk is -- Thiel, etc (I say "in" loosely for Musk) and if you don't think they also used FB you're a fool.

But propaganda isn't an excuse, because it requires some lack of not intentionally trying to expose yourself to new & different sources of news, but more importantly, different perspectives. And a complete detachment or ignorance from Trump's first presidency.

MAGA was always a traitor party.

  • Musk, like Peter Thiel, Curtis Yarvin, Marc Andreesson - the list of tech billionaires goes on - doesn't want a democracy. They want to replace the elites. They want a technocracy/monarchy, just like Musk's grandfather tried to implement.

    Traitors is 100% the word.

"I no longer believe democracy and freedom are compatible" - Peter Thiel

"If Americans want to change their government, they're going to have to get over their dictator phobia." - Curtis Yarvin

  • Sure. But the same is NOT true for everyone below the president. More people might push back on Trump's illegal orders if they know there's actual consequences for it.

The first part is still right. In a sane world, this is where the court starts to enforce that it is a co equal branch, per the constitution.

But we left the sane world a decade ago so... who knows.

  • Continuing to act as these people are all one unit. Stupidity. Can't go in circles if you won't apply any critical thinking. Already made it very clear not every single billionaire does want to do this.

But some of them do. It's those ones that are dangerous.

But go ahead and keep giving yourself a reach around and trying to figure out why not every single billionaire literally acts in lock step with each other... good lord it's painful.

    Have a good one bud.

  • You're acting like these billionaires are all a monolith that are all going to act the exact same way.

That is a mistake, and one that will cost you, as underestimating people in previous conflicts, revolutions, etc, have before.

They are not all knowing. They are not all powerful. They, too, make mistakes and believe lies.

Of course it's not their final plan. We don't even know what phase 2 of project 2025 is.

But everything they've openly said about project 2025 has pretty much come true... and all very consistently seems to be working toward this goal of Balkanizing the US. It might not happen during Trump's presidency. The tech bros plan for longer than 4 years

But the tech bros don't care about EVERY billionaire. They're not all in the circle. This isn't the rich guy circle. This is the dark enlightenment tech bro circle.

Does it make WAY more sense than the rest of the billionaires just aren't 100% informed about what's going on and are trying to hedge their OWN bets?

Again, I agree we don't have the full story. But you are putting almost superhuman levels of intelligence on these billionaires... when it's just not true

  • Brother. I'll say it one more time because it's clear you aren't following the story from comment to comment

Peter Thiel, a buddy of Elon Musk, has been trying to get land for billionaires for decades. It is literally the plan to overthrow democracy & give themselves land/city states. Called freedom cities.

I already said you can google a video of Trump saying it.

You are literally either lying or in cognitive dissonance. Billionaires are not more rational than us. Power and money corrupts. It always has. It always does. Stop making excuses for rich people or else you advocate for the same monarchy that Elon Musk does

  • Ngl bro both trip codes speak very similarly. The one by OP just seems like it's Elon when he's off the deep end from drinking or doing drugs. My 2c.

It's also fitting of his personality to be multiple "Antichrist" posters.

Here's where he says we need a monarchy. 100% Peter Thiel & Curtis Yarvin's garbage there. Dude wants to overthrow America.

Here's the Nazi saying the Jesus was white.

While I can't say both accounts are the same, this is just further evidence that Musk is in fact, a South African Nazi here to overthrow America.

(Yes I know I didn't post ss's from both accounts. You should read their context yourself, because even if I kinda convince you with one example, I think it's far more valuable that you read more of it and judge for yourself)

  • That is the dumbest thing you could have possibly said. Are you just lying?

Take a look at history. How about the Palace of Versailles?

Rich. People. Are. Not. More. Rational. It is not rational to hoard all of your money is banks while other people starve and get angry at you.

    That convincing plan is greed.

  • So.. I don't realllly believe it.

But I'll be honest, I've had this lingering thought in the back of my head that Elon was going to try to screw everybody. He and Peter Thiel aren't exactly like, best buds, even if they both are working to overthrow democracy.

Because I already have similar thoughts, this is gonna nag at me too.

  • The Elon thing is possible, and there's a screenshot in the Reddit thread that's kinda convincing, but I'm still not bought in.

Tinfoil hat brain is wondering if there's something in there someone's supposed to find but 😂 🤷🏻

  • Stop pretending that people who hoard more money & power than entire countries and have to abuse countless workers to get there have the same level of rational thought as you and me.

It's like the idea of being a king. When you can, at will, throw folks in jail... it messes you up. It changes how you view the world and your role in it.

Then remember that it's not like these guys all just went "I'm a billionaire. That's it. I won. I'm done"

They kept chasing money and kept growing. They kept chasing power. You realize that some of them are thinking about more than just being an influential billionaire, right?

Once again --- some of them want their own cities. Look up "freedom cities." Trump has stated, in a 2-3 minute camera clip, that he would like to auction off federal land to billionaires for them to run their own cities. It is unsaid but implied that they would get to make the laws there.

It's literally what Peter Thiel has been trying to accomplish for the rich & wealthy for decades.

"I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible." -Peter Thiel

The only thing these right wingers mean when they say freedom is the freedom for rich people to screw the rest of us even more.

Power. And. Money. Corrupt. You know the saying. It's not a meme, buddy. We have thousands of years of history to show us how often rich & powerful go looney

Hint: it's most of the time

  • Billionaires are not our allies. And some of them are genuinely stupid enough to have thought they could contain what was going on that it was just gonna be more tax cuts for them. They, like the public, didn't all actually believe it would be true. They are not inherently smarter or more immune to propaganda than we are.

They just have more access to information - if they don't surround themselves with people that are only yes men and such.

Other billionaires are betting on the collapse, and are willing to take less monetary power, to have more literal power if they can create their own city states. Literally what they're hoping for.

They are short sighted, stupid, arrogant, heartless... and, many, traitors.

Some need to be made an example of.

But we accept those who ask for forgiveness. I'm not saying to actually forgive them. Or to re-establish normal lives with them. Other people can do that work.

But they do have to have SOME kind of off-ramp, or you might as well be making the same arguments that MAGA are when they claim "liberalism is a mental illness and should be jailed."

  • Nope. Jailing anyone without due process/etc is un American. We talked before.

We are on the same side. If you're not a bad actor, I encourage you to take a more constructive approach to this discussion.

When Hamas very first attacked, I was on Israel's side. Not everyone is as educated on Israel's influence on our politics/etc. (fuck Israel. They can figure shit out on their own. I don't want to fund genocide. Period.)
