They're likely referencing posts on ye power tripping bastards where phobes would frequently complain about being banned for transphobia or some other kind of bigotry (unfairly according to them). I also once in a blue moon see comments on other instances where people claim we are rather ban happy. Not something you'll see on blåhaj much.

I'm not sure I get your logic for how transphobes wouldn't be transphobic if they understood the rules. Anti-lgbt behavior is very clearly listed as an example of not okay behavior within the guidelines. This is a safe space and anyone who needs to read some comprehensive incredibly detailed ruleset to act cordial won't read that ruleset in the first place. The guidelines as is seems to work just fine with only transphobes complaining as far as I can tell.

Edit: That is to say, it's easy to think they think russia is communist when they celebrate them killing civilians as some sort of victory against imperialism

That's not really the issue. The issue is that hexbear allows and condones harassment and bullying. They also have a lot of "tankies" which are people who defend dictatorships and genocide.

Might be worth making a post on beehaw and some other instances as well!

I understand two of you were mostly behind the move. Perhaps those two should step down and new mods be brought in. Kind of hard to trust you after all this.

Disappointing

Some parts of the internet would call what you are doing concern trolling. Let's assume it isn't. This hasn't happened yet at blåhaj, and I haven't seen it happen elsewhere. Ada makes it clear in the post that this wouldn't be acceptable and that someone with a slur as their pronoun would simply be removed.

This isn’t a free reign for trolls and spammers. The rules still apply. Trolling, spamming, etc will continue to be dealt with, but it’s not an excuse to act as if respecting someones pronouns is optional.

Why is it that none of you want to do this? Why do you all come here and lash out against neopronouns? You've already said it doesn't make sense to you, but you are free to just leave and not participate, or to not engage with neopronoun users.

There are plenty of neopronouns that are used by lots of people. In scandinavia we've adopted a common non-binary neopronoun f.ex, and english has lots of different ones that are very commonly used
