  • If you're talking about the cs50 course Harvard offers online, you can join anytime you want. The course is spread over 11 weeks and you can submit the tests anytime before the end of the year if you want the certificates.

  • As this is bazzite, an immutable distro, the neat part is: if you reach finding out phase after fucking around, simply reboot and chose the previous version during boot. Very convenient for people who like to mess around with their systems :D

  • Not really unfortunately. I use Joplin with my notes living on my nextcloud at the moment, but its still not quite what I'm looking for. Notesnook might be another one worth looking at. I think you can also self host it, but I haven't tried it yet.

  • I gave up on that machine and got a stainless steel bialetti. I've managed to pull a good shot 1 or 2 times and was never able to get consistent even after I got a good grinder and swapped the showerhead basket for a professional one.

  • I think the biggest advantage for my use case is the no fuzz aspect. In the rare case something goes wrong I can reboot and select the previous version that worked without a problem. Also the ease of mind knowing I can't really fuck up my machine, as the important parts are immutable. Other than that I enjoy having everything gaming related already configured correctly as I use bazzite - but that's probably also true for non immutable gaming oriented distros.

  • As someone that loves to draw: definitely worth it. Is it worth it for you? I can't tell you. Having a clear goal helps tremendously so wanting to create your own comic can be good motivation.

As for how long it'll take you: depends completely on what your own measure is. The more you practice the better you'll get. Also: set goals for practice (I want to learn hands, I want to draw clothes etc.)

And: drawing is a rather inexpensive hobby to get started, if you don't like it, you can just quit whenever.
