I don’t like memmy, the interface feels very non native to iOS. Mlem feels much more like Apollo imo, and just much more like a good iOS app in general. Also Mlem was recently taken out of beta and is now in the App Store!
Kinda off topic but does anyone know of a gay porn instance? The gay sub communities on lemmynsfw and pornlemmy are pretty barren, and the rest of the communities content seem to be aimed at cis straight men (nothing wrong with that, just not what I’m looking for!)
Yup exactly! Or if you have the storage space might as well keep the original quality and let whatever streamer you’re using (plex jellyfin etc) transcode for you
Handbreak isn’t gonna do what you want, it won’t see past drm. Once you use makeMKV to remix it you can use handbreak to compress it if you want though, it’s great for that.
Yeah this was something I considered when I moved over. But between the advanced data protection feature and my technical savvy I decided the convince was worth it because chances of my account getting compromised are very very very very low
