I've had acouple video cards fail and a power supply fail. In all cases I was asking to much from them.

When I worked at a car dealership there was a service customer named Stuart Pidasso.

Over the intercom, when they announced "Stu Pidasso, your car is ready" it sounded like "Stupid asshole, your car is ready".

I thought it was pretty funny.

My brother told me the first time he truly felt like an adult was when he had to go shopping for a washing machine.

I think for me it was when I suffered a back injury whilst sleeping.

In others, I try to ignore it or find it amusing.

In myself, I try to learn things to keep it at bay.

Netanyahu did an interview on the Lex Friedman podcast and the whole thing felt like he was dodging questions. His go-to move seems to be the "You're asking the wrong question. Instead of asking [thing 1], you should really be asking [thing 2]."...and then proceeds to answer his suggested question instead.

I've never really sought out much information about the Israel situation, and this was really my first impression of the guy and he just seemed so good at manipulating the conversation. It was impressive how apparent it was yet still somehow convincing.

So what would you call him?

Hypothetical question:

I have a friend named Richard. He prefers to be called Rich but his boss calls him Rick.

Should his boss adjust to call him Rich because that is what he prefers, or should he just accept being called Rick because it is a commonly accepted nickname for Richard?

What happens when you drop the soap?

I call this "pizza phone" because it looks like they are eating their phone like a slice of pizza.

I would call him Ricky Dicky.

I use FreeCAD most of the time, but occasionally I'll also use OpenSCAD. It's a different way to think about drawings but in certain circumstances it seems easier.

If I don't put gas in my car it won't move. Fueling my car is a burden, but generally I think it is worth it.

Not my forte.

I used to smoke flavored cigarettes. When they were made illegal where I live they were modified and re-released as flavored cigarillos(mini cigars).

They were similar, but different enough that I no longer enjoyed smoking them.
